This is my proposal how I want to see the tournaments ran.
1) Olympics every 4th year
2) WHC every 2nd year
3) World cup every 4th year
2010 Olympics
2011 WHC
2012 World Cup
2013 WHC
2014 Olympics
2015 WHC
2016 World cup
We get exactly one tournament each year, and one "big" tournament every 2nd year. I think that's better than having the WHC every year and world cup every 8th year or so.

I think thats too much to be honest. Its better to have it less often rather than more often.
I think if they lose the Olympics, then they should replace it with something else. Whether it be the World Cup, or something else under a different name, whatever. I would like it to be through the IIHF rather than just the NHL. It should be an event that all leagues have agreed on like the Olympics.
The World Championships are good the way they are because they're like mini Olympics. They don't mean a whole lot, but they're fun.

the WHC used to be good fun, but theyre pretty pointless. I rather have tournaments for best players.
Maybe we should stop with the world championships and do world cup and olympics every 4th year instead.
