Biggest O.T. goal in Ducks history

The Ducks have had a lot of important overtime goals in the playoffs.

What do you consider the biggest one?

Also, a few other things:

1. The NHL Network ranked the Top 10 O.T. Goals of the 2003 Playoffs (All the Duck OT goals from that magical season appeared in the show, BTW), and I disagree with their top choice. I think Rucchin's goal that knocked out Detroit was bigger than Steve Thomas' goal in the Finals.

Thomas tied up a series- Rucchin knocked out the defending Cup champions in a sweep- I think #3 and #1 should be switched.

2. Who exactly is the TSN announcer in this clip of Rucchin's goal? I can identify him by voice, but not by name.

i just remember leclerc scoring some real big goals for the ducks in the playoffs, but not sure if any were in OT. Voted Teemu's goal, because we won the cup that season.

My favorite remains Kariya on Phoenix in 97. Staved off elimination, turned momentum to lead us to our first ever series win in our first ever playoffs. Good times.

2nd is Teemu on Detroit in 07. Pretty goal, and I honestly thought we were done in that game before Nieds tied it up. The whining of the Detroit fans (wah wah wah, cheap interference on Datsyuk... the Wings never interfere while the Ducks have been doing it all season) makes just that much sweeter.

3rd is your Rucchin goal. Sadly I actually didn't watch that game, being on the road at the time. But I jumped up in the car when I heard it on the radio. That goal made me believe in the 03 run. I kept expecting our bubble to burst and Detroit to come back until Rooch (my fave Duck ever pre Pahlsson) clinched it.

Selannes easily, without that goal I doubt we win the cup.

Teemu's against Detroit for sure. Until then it was Rooch's in my opinion. That goal made us legit. We were a joke before then. But Teemu's goal just about vaulted us into the Finals.

Selanne on Hasek might be the most important goal in Ducks history, if it wasn't for that goal I really doubt we'd have won that series and end up winning the cup.

The other goals bring back some really good memories though. Like Sykora's goal to end ridiculously long game in Dallas.

I voted the Niedermayer goal by accident. Selanne's goal saved the 07 playoffs by far. I just watched that game from the 12 disc set and my god were we ever lucky to get out of there with a win. Amazing shot as well.

I have vote for Selanne on Hasek. It was an very emotional moment. With this I knew that that we can really win the cup.

I really think I cheered the tying goal more. I remember yelling "take it lidstrom, you *****! You just scored us a goal!!!"

This should have been a poll for 2nd place, because it has to be the Selanne goal in 1st. That goal essentially won us the Cup. We lose in that OT, Detroit wins the Cup. Instead, Selanne scores and it's smooth sailing from there.

That had a nice feeling to it too. Lidstrom, who never makes mistakes and is the perfect defenseman (better than Bourque!!!11), deflects in a shot from the far inferior Niedermayer.

Teemu's goal was a thing of beauty. As Ed Olczyk said, "Forehand, backhand, nothing but water bottle."

But even though it wasn't an OT winner, for pure emotional impact, Scott's goal was it for me. That was pure desperation.

Ah, that video takes me back. I was on a date, and the restaraunt we were at had that game on and I remember jumping up and screaming after Rooch scored. I miss Rooch.

But that said, the Selanne goal was our best, no question. Without it, we may have lost that series and thus, no Cup.

I'd say scoring against NJ in game 4. It was the difference between a 5 game and a 7 game series. Personal favorite: Niedermayer making Luongo look like Fooluongo.

I voted Selanne on Hasek. If Detroit won Game 5, I don't know if Anaheim would have won the series.
