Relive the magic with Marty and Dano coming in the fall. They play these all the time for Carolina and Tampa, so im happy they finally did one for the Devils.

Hopefully the air date is after the season starts as Directv has stopped giving me the NHL network until Center Ice starts up again.

Well they will probably play it all throughout the season. Thats what they did for the other "Relive The Magic" programs. so i dont think you have to worry.

Marty looks fat.

2000 was my least favorite cup for personal reasons. I really hope they do 2003 someday. Maybe with Friesen. I heard he has a ton of free time now.

Time Warner wants extra money for the NHL network, I won't pay extra for it.

For Directv there is two ways to get it. Have Center Ice or the Total Choice Extra package. I got it through Center Ice which is now over. I don't have choice extra which would cost me about $30 more a month to upgrade to. I somehow have an older package where I get most of the channels (including Versus) for only $10.99 a month (not including Center Ice or Extra Innings). Needless to say I'm not giving that price up for just 2 months of mostly filler programming. I'll just wait until my Center Ice renews.

I have Comcast, all I have to do is pay $5 extra for the sports package and I get not just NHL network but a whole bunch of sports channels including fox sports.

I have whichever package continues to carry NHL Network, but sadly in order to get it in HD they conned me into $1.95/mo. extra for the NHLNetwork HD plus 4-5 other channels that I'll never watch. Gotta love it! :help:

They give to you with Center Ice, which I have, but NOT in HDTV. I really think I'm not subscribing to Center Ice this year unless they offer it in HDTV. The regular version (SD) they offer isnt very good, and with some of the stations it's almost unwatchable.

I must live in Mayberry, EBF right? NO, friggin' Manhattan = RIDICULOUS

switch to DISH - NHL network is in HD.

They also just added like 14 new HD channels and will have 50 more by the end of the year for 150 total. (PM me if you do switch - I can save you and extra $50 from your first bill on top of the promos)

Oh well, at least the horn at the rock is not absolutely horrendous like the one in the beginning of the year. the new one is so loud, but the CAA one has so many memories for me at least.

Man, me too. I know we've all mentioned how much we'd like it back ... remember after the '00 cup when you went to the Devils website? I accidentally had my speakers waaaay up and it pretty much blew me out of my chair :)

NHL Network in HD kicks ***. But does anyone else have the problem where you've got the volume set for the show that's on, only to wonder if you'll ever hear again when they do the little NHL Network commercial break theme?

I don't seem to have that problem. But I get some other really strange digital problems like video jumping when I have the info on for the show.

Dig around in your box options menu - I stumbled upon a little option that wasn't enabled where it will automatically adjust the volume levels to maintain a certain volume setting. It helps - especially when those local commercials come on and blast your out of the room. (Your television may even have a setting for it if you're using it for your sound).

Awesome, I'll give it a shot! Thank you.

I've stopped watching NHLN until they start putting new shows on. I've seen every single classic series they have, i dont feel like watching old full games from the 80s and they're top 10s are just repeats.

well in the states, hockey like that is barely on regular tv so seeing it in the summer this year is such a better summer to stay in tact with hockey over the offseason.

i personally love it.
