Sucks he died young, but I didn't like the guy one bit. Can't say I'm sad but it's definitely sad news that he died. Let it be known now that you cannot **** around when it comes to pneumonia.

A woman I worked with's daughter died abruptly of the same thing and she was 28 years old. It's a very very serious condition that needs treatment immediately if it progresses that far.


....and this is coming from me who would rather suffer than goto a Dr or hospital.

I missed the opportunity to meet him back 6 years ago when I was 16. He came into my family's store, I was in the back and never realized it, and my step-mom was oblivious to who he was.

He was one hell of an actor and comic. His routine on the Original Kings of Comedy was brilliant.

RIP.

That's terrible, I thought the guy was hilarious and had a heart too. Mr. 3000 was terrific.

Bernie sure made me laugh on more than a few occasions. Great guy, humble and well respected, Ill miss looking forward to his cameos in movies.

I liked his television show better than his standup - it's really great humor that is almost completely opposite his standup material.

Totally !! My cousin had what she thought was a flu last year, put off going to the hospital for a week, turns out she had pneumonia, when my aunt finally urged her to go the hospital the doctor told her so she was so lucky she had come in she would have been dead within 24 hours if she hadn't.

Not a big fan or Bernies but still tragic to see someone pass away that young.
