For those of you that are on there...have you ever done a search for New Jersey Devils and seen the names of groups for them?

Some of my favorites as I came across them:

"I hate the NJ Devils"
"**** the NJ Devils"
"The NJ Devils Hate Club for those that Like Interesting Hockey"
"The NJ Devils are Pu$$ies"
"The New Jersey Devils Suck, and Everyone Knows It"
"Both the New Jersey Devils and their clueless fans suck!"

It just keeps getting better and better as I go along...

I love the hate groups. I joined one for Lundqvist fans and really pissed the **** out of them. Especially the creator, some stupid ****ing broad who thought Lundqvist should marry her cause she was "hot"

There are a lot of sad people out there. To spend time making a Facebook group based on hating a rival instead of supporting their team...kind of reminds me of a thead in a different board...:sarcasm:

Even sadder are the people who join groups just to bash people in it...kind of reminds me of a post in this thread.

Regardless, every team is going to have stupid **** like that when its hosted by a website frequented by immature teenagers and fat middle aged women who like to pretend their good looking.

A whole bunch of anti-Lou groups popped up after the Isles game at the end of the 06-07 season. It was then that I truly realized how idiotic Leafs fans are.

Picture this: Sunday afternoon on the last day of the NHL season. The New York Islanders are facing off against the New Jersey Devils. The game means little if anything to the Devils as their place in the standings was sealed weeks ago. But for the Islanders and the Toronto Maple Leafs, this game was more important than any of the others that had preceded it. So who do you start in net?

First and foremost, it's the right thing to do. Two teams are vying for the 8th and final playoff spot, in the interest of keeping everything fair and equal, the right thing to do would be to start your regulars. It would please the Hockey Gods. Never mind that you have Martin Brodeur, the best goalie in the league - a guy who has played 78 of your teams 81 games. Clearly one more game wasn't going to hurt. And in any case, he's got 3 days to rest before the playoffs start.

On top of all that, your All Star goalie is ONE game shy of tying Grant Fuhr's 1995-1996 record of 79 appearances in a season. Need more motivation? He set the record last week with 48 wins in a season but his counterpart in Vancouver, Roberto Luongo, was sitting at 47 and the Canucks were playing the lowly Phoenix Coyotes today. If for no other reason than to solidify your goalie's name in the record books, you should start Brodeur. It was the right thing to do.

So what does Lamoriello do? He starts Scott Clemmensen - a guy who had played in a mere 5 games all season long. A guy with absolutely no "big game" experience. A guy who hasn't started a game since February 25 - a ridiculous 6 weeks ago.

This is an outrage. The only reasonable outcome is that Lou Lamoriello should die.

I don't know why they were so hellbent on getting absolutely destroyed by Buffalo.
That would have been a bloodbath. The way I see it, Clemmer did them a favor.

It's funny because they act like this has never happened in the NFL (most apparent) - the sport that every American just loves oh so much because it's perfect!

But I guess if you're in such a post season success drought as the Isles this does hurt more than usual. Everyone complains that Brodeur is played too much, and when Lou sits him its a crime :shakehead
