Just Some Notes and some logical thoughts! Hear em out Devils ARMY!!

Please understand this is to help some new guys out, just throwing some alternative ideas out there. And also trying to help some relise bergfors and vrana, if do they make the team does not have to put one the first and second lines regardless of people/fans and want Lou siad(remember ladies and gents he is our hero but still he is a politian, should he really be taken word for word???) also some great ideas how to make Lowell better im tired of sucking, i dont know about you but this is it for me.

*Rupp/Pelley will be sitting and possibly put in rotating system for other players/yes some will get hurt too(Elias Langs Gio Rolston and pando have had their problemsin the past, you cant go into battle understaffed!!! RULE NUMBER ONE OF BATTLE! Bergie and vrana will be there, although vrana might come up after a few. But no biggie he will still be there, almost certain!

Im sorry to everyone else out there that me thinks Bergfors will start the first few games on the fourth, IS CORRENTE IF HE MAKES WILL HE BE ON THE FIRST PAIR COMMON GUYS! Which brings up the fact that Clarkson and Holik have the talent and they are BIG bodies(Rupp too, Pelley certainly plays like he has one) and THEY really like to bang bodies, they win battles and most imporant win faceoffs, nine times out of ten the puck will come out of the corners with them

**drawback no one to carry the puck up well thats where young man nik comes in, for all those who say he needs to be top 6 THATS BULL... a true players with potential talent are able able to play with all players at all times. Double shifting anyone? TB did it although st. louis and others did with a far less superior team we have a pretty inpressive squad front to back if you really break it down?****Is still think Smith will be igned and with all the O we have now im really hoping as well as devil staff trainers included arehoping for boyle an JAY-BOW

Please be open minded and I know this is the millionth time i said it other better players(WAY BETTER PLAYERS) that came along before them(bergfors and Vrana) all paid there dues playing on the 3rd and 4th and some nights in the press box, waited for their chance for someone to go down traded see sullivan our very own Rolston, Sullivan, Sykore, Elias, Gio, Morrison, mad dog, Pando, Brylin EVEN MARTYit can go on forever that how deeo we were ad we can be again if we go about it he right way....havent we learned anything from the Rangers you ant rush these guys, take the yeankee stance which I BELIEVE THEY MODELED AFTER US!

He(Nik an Petr) can play on the second and third line. The beauty of the jersey system is that it would just take some jockeying and THAT IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO BE DOING ALL YEAR LONG, we saw a little of it last year and a whole lot towards the end and playoffs......I'm sure this years Devils will have more line combo's than Mickey D's *one through 22(this I mean different players lines with diffent pplayers i'd be inclined to think that there will be no set lines to begin with). NOT TO MENTION(with Bobby and Brian) its like happy Meal combos for PP and Pk(what Bobby and Brain are going to do for this PP and Pk is going to shock you and hopefully the addition of a couple D-men, one signed if bot

Here are the Ideas For Lowell:

So not only will the Devils be REALLY GOOD this season Lowell(the devils farm team needs to start having some success 95 aint cutting the mustard last anymore). I think MM Oduya and even Brookbank were meant for there(minors,just cicumstance lead to NHL jobs) from the begining and then relized and we relized Lou forget to get something,hey we all do it, right? ....oh yeah some D, which I think he wont forget again this year i still feel a trade coming (we have a lot of extras pelley Rupp, D-men, plus if we lose something now we can sign to make up for it )so there might very well be some more spots open eventually and maybe(or however you want to spin it)

To be honest I think thats why we re-signed Tallackson, Zharkhov and in the coming days guys will be coming here with a little more experience like we tried 5 years back we did, look for guys looking to stay in the league some semi(sucky) I might add to get back in the league. And I wouldnt be suprised if Vas gets his a$$ over here along with some other recent draft picks that just have been in the O,E or College. Look for some Vets that cant catch on. Im sure even players like*I would love to see a tryout out or a AHL contract to Yrok and Moore and then theres Vets who have lost a step but would rip up the A in Lapoint/Rucchin/Peca(doubt it),Cullen,Matt it could go on and one with the amount of picks coming in playing on the FIRST AND SECOND LINE MUCH LIKE HALF WANT BERGIE AN VRANA TO DO. And on D Konopka(I HOPE), Berard who would would really find his stride with a team like us yes theres the eye issue but its just minor league hockey with the possibility of real ice tem(sounds like a jail term), Brisebois, Hill, and Carney

**And everyone's favorite journeymen at age of 24 Taffe/Beach/Baumgartner/Tanabe(maybe)/Richie and Isbister may even come along, who for all we know could form voltron but great AHL players they are. We will be a much better team in lowell this year as well, but rather stay away from these guys! Might not be by tradition standards but we have to do something and we will. Now will 2 even make it now no but the depth alone would help out tremously and stop us from looking like a chump, Im almost embarassed for any team we are associated with but then again its like having that cool older brother that is captain of the hockey team homecoming king, gets any girl and, could down a 12 pack in 5 minutes as the Devils.

BACK TO THE BIG BOY(DEVS)
*Also still grumblings, as you know I work with the NHL, that Smith wants back and I would take him as a 6th man in a heart beat(moving Vish to withor traded)we will be stacked with leadership, remember how flyers raved about him until a third of the season, why not have him sign a lower contract and have a rotating squad between its not like they are making 4.5 between them all Vish, Greene, and Corrente **if he is having problems but I doubt that he looks solid(that make me happy as well AS CJ thats for sure).

Oduya the jury is still out but let him take the reigns in Lowell with Mcgillis an Matty gone let this be his team. Yes it didnt work for hale but i didnt really work for him in Calgary either, albiet a few games. Their are flaws in his game that he needs to address and I think he is better in some if not most aspects of the game than some who I said should stay up, but he needs to learn to drop the blunders and stay focused, slap a C on him and make a man feel like a million bucks never hurt before same with Brookbank throw that A on him, with Olii and Frasier(sounds like a title fight) we will build get set of D-Corps for some time welll 3-4 guys anyways! Also I would love to see Conte grab a sweedish d-man and really try and grab a gem everyteam is tlaking or already has done lets get it done that would really round things out. I hope Marshall is coming back as our true Captain sorry little Gio, the JO thing was a joke but give him an A at least. we need an enforcer or two with GLP gone hell 3 years ago we had about 10 with sgori, skrlac, clarkson, cam, GLP, Voros, damn it can go forever. Although I dont want Rass back if we are wearing thin so be it but he is the player im talking abou get some vets(aformentioned in my rant sorry guys but its the truth if you really just think about it LOU IS NO STUPID MAN, human yes! so that what the last few has been his human years)!!! If your willing to write two pages worth of stuff you should be willing to hit the preview button to re-read what you wrote and fix the glaring errors. Spelling mistakes are fine, but the text structure is very hard to follow. I will say this though since the part I did read involved our prospects: Any talk of where they will get slotted in is premature since most people here think a trade is in the works. As long as we don't know who's leaving and who's coming back we don't know where the holes in the lineup will be.

My take.....Lowell had a bunch of older vet sthe last few years and we saw what happend....It didnt work, so signing older vets for Lowell is not an Option. I like the youth direction they are moving in, actually using a farm team like it should be. They may not be the Best team, but it will be an improvement, and a more fun team to watch i suppose...Not that i get to watch any games.

Oduya is not going to Lowell, neither is Greene. Greene is on a one way contract and would have to pass through waivers. Oduya played well when he had Martin to cover him and they actually complimented each other.

More to come when i read the rest....

Not to mention Oduya's +/- was great the 2nd half and he played 20 minutes a night... he stays. Greene wouldn't make it through waivers me thinks at a measly 600k.

I didn't know English was your second language, so I'll cut you some slack there. But, you may want to reconsider writing 2 pages in 5 minutes because the sentence structure gets pretty disjointed when you do. Take your time.. sometimes less is more.

EDIT - Ok, so I read it.. I don't really see the inside info part unless you were talking about the trainers wanting Boyle or Bowmeester. Regardless, a quick look at our cap situation (and contract lengths) shows that there won't be many roster spots for forwards on this team in the foreseeable future. You talk about how the young guys are going to have to essentially pay their dues to get better minutes but really nowadays players will just not resign with us if there's no spots for them. However, if this team runs into injury trouble as it did last year, the handful of quality prospects we do have may end up playing significant roles this season. Also, who knows what this team will look like come October.

What I am looking forward to is Corrente getting a real shot at making the team this year.

Seriously fnI, I don't think people are pissing from this side. Most of the criticism is that the structure of your initial post was *incredibly* hard to follow. Language issues notwithstanding, the ALL CAPS and the incomplete words/phrases make it very difficult to comprehend and respond (I've tried). Your response to this is that you've got a great life and we would be pissing ourselves if we knew.

Regarding what I can make of your initial post, a few of us are probably skeptical because it is hard to propose that Oduya, despite his occassional lapses, should be relegated to the AHL when he was the teams leadin +/- guy, put up respectable points and is on a cheap contract.

You mention bringing in Jason Smith *and* the team going after Boyle or J-Bo. How does this fit within the cap?

You suggest that Bergfors and Vrana will feature in the lineup in a third line or so role, but again, whom do you see sitting/being moved to put them in?

Most of us are under the impression that the dealing isn't done (I'd love to have J-Bo myself, although that might be too optmistic) but the ideas you've proposed are a little difficult to understand completely.

If Greene were put on waivers some team would pick his arse up in a second. Same with Oduya (unless he has a two way deal of course)

I agree completely. I was the first one to make a joke in another thread that was started. It was nothing bad, and it was followed with a sarcastic smile face. I then got attacked for it. The sentence structure and grammar make each post extraordinarily tough to read and understand.

FnI, if you just said something like "sorry, English is my second language", no one would have poked fun at you. Honestly, whatever fun people did make was just little sarcastic comments. You keep saying that "its a message board" and that grammar isn't important and that you make a lot of money...no one is saying you are poor or anything like that. However, grammar and sentence structure are important since there is only one median of communication-text. Everyone now knows that you are not a native speaker and won't be sarcastic.

Hey FnI, you know I always back you up when I can(I did read the whole thing) 'cause you always bring great enthusiasm to this board. I rather have a poster around like you than some of the other self-serving penis pumps we get here, no matter what your job is.

That said it was a tad long and hard to read at times. You made some good points and some not so good points, but you're right, it is a message board. So if grown men can come here and admit they play with dolls, then by all means you throw down your opinion too. Let's keep patient and wait til September and see what else Lou has planned. If this is the roster come October, then I'll be the first to flip but I'm sure more changes are coming.

its all good guys, and as semak pointed out just wait till september rolls around but in the mean time I ust wanted to talk about other posibilities and other hurdles we might encounter this season. I do apologize again for the length, but onceagain i I start something and must see it through from the start to the end.
My intention was the to talk about something *mainly it was to talk about the due process when a rookie(in this case it was to address the bergfors and vrana and other grumblings which i understood could be hard to decipher. I was just rying to prove my point which i think hekd up IMO which is what messsageboards are all about your opinion and a vaid way to back them up. Mine being people of grater talent held in higher regard in the org sepite a gew were started out on lower lines.

And the MM Brookbank and oduya is just the way I feel. We will undoubting lose Greene which can be used as a 5 not as a 2 man when White was out so his confindence took a major hit. Im not impressed with "ORR-DUYA" im sorry im not i think vish even as a 7th and the style reminicent of Dano would be grat as a 7th or 8Dman barring no trade.

Its just the turming of the posters that i despise.
