Zubrus is hardly a cash hog. He signed here fro six years.

Zubrus is more of a complimentary type player. But he skates with a lot of heart and can fill a lot of roles.

We do need a marquee name up front.

There are players that would not want to play with NJ but they also would not want to play with other teams either. Money talks as well as other factors. If Hossa is offered $8 mill by Lou I do you honestly think he will say well I do not want to play for NJ???? He wouldsign the dotted line quicker then we can say his name.

I think you shouldn't be allowed to create threads until you've made a certain number of posts or been here for a certain period of time. These new posters and the casual ones that stop by once every 6 months always create threads that are just downright retarded.

Just for that, I'm going to start a new thread asking about the merit of re-signing Aaron Asham. There seems to be a love thread about him on the Free Agent/Trade Board.

Because every non-Devils fan can see that Asham was misused by Sutter this year. He's a lot better than we made him look this year, and showed flashes of that at the beginning, playing 2nd/3rd lines.
