Those numbers can't be right. They look weird. Lots of players have more games played than that. These stats must be lacking some numbers... Because I am sure that Kiessling used to be the leader in games played, until he got passed by Helminen (who isn't on the list at all!).

According to the IIHF Record Book, the above listed numbers are correct.

It is confusing because the IIHF stats correspond to only total points and total games played in World Championship tournaments and not the totals of all national team games (friendlies, EHT, etc.)
