Huselius asks for trade? TheFourthPeriod.com

<table width="674"> <tbody><tr><td width="370"> In his second game behind the Panthers’ bench, John Torchetti changed his lineup after a victory, something coaches are usually reluctant to do, reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Despite his team’s win Tuesday over Montreal, Torchetti sat Kristian Huselius against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday and replaced him with center Mike Green.

“The last couple of games I’ve felt pretty good, especially before the break,” Huselius told the Sun-Sentinel.

</td> <td width="300">
</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> Asked what Torchetti told him, Huselius, whom General Manager Rick Dudley has raved about since his move to center, said, “To play better.”

Torchetti wouldn’t discuss why he scratched Huselius.

According to a report out of Sweden, Huselius is upset with his team and is hoping to be traded.

Hmmmm... Kristian Huselius and Val Bure wouldn't be bad pickups for our offense at all. Wouldn't mind that if Lou can do it on the cheap. Huselius makes around 900K so he shouldn't be too costly.

Hmmmm is exactly what I thought before I read your post, Huselius reminds me alot of Elias and Bure we be a very good addition.

...except Val and Vlad (from what I hear, anyway) don't get along so well.
How is Bure defensively?
Though I wouldn't mind see Huselius on the Devils...what would we have to give up?

Your right he doesn't get along with his son but I think that it was Pavel not Val, but for all I know it could be both.

Maybe I'm right...maybe not. Although I think that even if they don't get along too good, I'm sure Lou could rectify any unpleasant situations that might arise.

For some reason I think Huselius is Long Island-bound.

For DiPietro, no doubt. :joker:

I'd rather have Huselius than Bure. Huselius is a sick sniper and has worked on his defensive game this year. He's cheaper too. I've never liked Val Bure and I don't think I ever will.

I'd trade it in for a truck and run him over for being such a stooge in his own zone.
