This was not the first time as it happened, but I just wonder why they can't change the procedure after the gold medal game.
They gave the winning trophy too early IMO. That trophy should be awarded after handshaking, and after losing team has left the ice.

I wondered the same thing.
First they gave the Trophy to Morozov, then silver medals to canadiens and the gold medals. Pretty weird.
I remember that silver medals have been given always first to the losing team, then the gold medals and finally winning captain raises the cup.

I think they just screwed it up. Morozov came up, and whoever the presenter was just gave the trophy to him. They couldn't just take it away form him then.
