I'm looking for a ticket stub from the Devils home game against the Penguins back on October 5th, 2005.

If anyone has one, please PM me. I'll gladly pay for it if need be.

Sidney Crosby's first game, as well as Zach Parise's first goal I believe.

I have the stub, but I am holding onto it, sorry. I am sure you will be able to get it from someone.

I lost mine. Just ended up in a pile with the rest of them. More annoyed that I lost my stub from Ottawa. There's a possibility I had it put away, but that was 2 1/2 years ago, so it's not like I'd remember where I put it away.

I remember that game, 5-1 and Brodeur played ridiculously. I also remember that Parise scored on his very first shot ever.

Remember how the Pens game out of the gate with like 10 straight shots and Brodeur kept us in the game for the first 10 minutes until we took over.

How much would this stub be worth $$$ wise?

Yeah, because we got introduced to the New NHL with a double 5 on 3 against.

Not as much as it will be when Crosby retires.
Or when our heartthrob does.

I remember I went to the game without buying tickets in advance. Scalpers were like "it is sold out" and "there are no tickets" and we bought 2 tickets from the box office like 20 minutes before the game. This was also the 1st Game back from the Lockout. The fans got Devils hats with like "Welcome Back" (i think) on the lower back or something like that.

18,101 (95.1% full) Attendance on that night. Good job Scalpers!

I still have the hat from that game where it says Welcome Back or something like that in the lower back.

A lot to me, but not because of money. I want it because it's the only important ticket stub of his NHL career so far that I don't have.

$10 to anyone that has one for me. I'll paypal you the money or send you a money order.

Come on guys, the Pens beat the Rags for you! Help me out here.

$20?

His home ticket stub will be worth a lot more. Not only is it from his first game in Pittsburgh, but he scored his first NHL goal that game as well.

The first goal is super cool and everything, but his first game will be worth more to collectors assuming he turns into the HOF people think he will.

You might be right, but I'm still offering $20 to anyone who's willing to part with one.

Thanks.

I'd gladly trade it to you for Penguins/Devils ticket stub from the 10-05-82. :D

Been looking for that for many a moon now.

I have a full ticket and a stub from that game. Pisses me off, because I'd have had two full tickets but I had to go back to my car after the fan fest, and the door I entered tore my ticket, while my wife went in a door that just scanned it with a laser.

They're Devils season tickets too, not crappy ticketmaster reprints. I'll see if I can find them tonight.

Now I know why there's a guy in Pittsburgh that always asks me for my tickets!! I don't usually give him mine, I give him someone else's.

And I have that ticket as well (somewhere in a safe place), but I'm not selling mine!

Holy Crap! That's ridiculous. I'm sure if he was realistic about it he could be $200 or so, but asking several grand is a bit obsurd.

EDIT: And how the hell do they PSA a friggin' ticket? Geez, that company is a bunch of whores at this point. They'll probably "grade" a jock-strap if you pay them to.

StriderTB

Actually PSA has been grading tickets for probably 6 years now. I had a ticket graded by PSA and sold at auction for around $4000.

Asking $10 for a mundane ticket stub. The important thing is that Crosby "scorded" a goal that night.
