In the United States that is, does anyone know if the NHL Network will air any games from the WC's?

Haven't seen any ads for it - I know I have seen ads for Memorial Cup coverage but I haven't seen world cup.

Looks like $4.95 for the month. and the WC's go from Tomorrow (friday) till the 18th, so a one month membership should do.....not to bad.....

Is Parise really the captain of the team? Someone posted it on our thread.

He's the alternate captain along with Mark Stuart. Jeff Halpern is the captain.

I'd really love to pretend how outraged I am, but as a USA hockey fan, I'm pretty much used to being boned and not being able to see the most important of international competitions.

Meh, it's the the NIT of Hockey.

That said I'm pissed because I paid the 5 dollars for the online subscription and then the thing wouldn't work.

The game was free on the internet, you can actually watch the whole thing right now at:

Where was it free? There was a link on usahockey.com but it cost 5 dollars for the month (and then the thing wouldn't work for me).

Pretty much. And Canada wins it more often than not and boasts about how great it is and how they are the best at hockey etc... And when Canada doesnt win it all it simply states that "its' best players werent available" due to the NHL playoffs.

Its the truth though, Canada could send 4 or 5 teams to this tourney.

Zach scores :handclap:

He played very well at center, a little shaky with the puck but that will come throughout the tourney.

tsn.ca will be streaming it on broadband, if you don't have a CDN ISP then google some canadian proxies and you should be able to figure it out. Good luck.
