I'll give them MGS4. That's a no brainer. But that is just a Japanese game made for the Western Market (I know it's huge in Japan too).

But their online gaming sucks (the Wii's online is an actual Joke, PSN isn't alot better either) and their original idea's are being trumped and bested by even the smaller game developer's.

I haven't owned a Japanse game since MGS2. I've found mostly everything to come out of Japan since then, highly overrated.


If you are talking about online games, their Final Fantasy XI is awesome. This game was very well designed, the game mechanics works so well and involves teamwork to make combat more effective, adding to the fun factor. You can even just ride a boat and go fishing in the game, including fishing up boots and monsters you have to fight.

Theres even a chance to own your own house and do a little gardening. The game has it all. The only reason I ever quit the game cause I got sick of trying to talk to Japanese people who didn't want to talk in English.

I'm just not a fan. I would rather be blowing **** up, shooting up monsters with high powered rifles, chainsawing dudes in half and protecting democracy in the free world. ;)

Come back Moon! Since the Xbox dropped there are plenty of <English> speaking folk and now you can actually solo in the down times between missions and pt's :handclap:

I dunno if they still have my character. I had gotten a Red mage to level 70 the first month that I played ... Still have to face Maat. Was on Siren.
