"I went 56 games until I finally saw some net behind a goalie Wednesday night," said Vancouver's Todd Bertuzzi yesterday, "It shows you how great Brodeur is, playing with smaller equipment than anyone else."

You should put that on the that ridicoulous Brodeur thread, nahhhh never mind those bozos would find a way to dismiss this also, somebody already posted that survey article in it and our "friend" refuse to believe it. But it's great to see his peers recogonize Marty's greatness, those are the opinions that really matter, not some stoneheads sitting in front of a computer.

I'd be surprised if it changes anybody's opinion in the smallest way...

At least some players are starting to realize that about Marty. I mean take the all-star game for example. If you watched Brodeur, and then took a look at Luongo, there was a huge difference in the size of equipment. They gotta start doing something about it.

The very first thing I noticed when Brodeur was standing next to Luongo was the size of their pads...just makes me think that much more of Brodeur...

Why does it bother you that people think Brodeur is overated, it isn't as if we are trading him anytime soon and he will continue to win in this organization. So if people think he is overated how will that affect our team....not in the least bit.

I don't mind if some people think Marty is overrated, it's better then him being underrated and unnoticed. Listening to the media kiss his ass and call him the best goalie in the game is enough for me, especially after years of listening to people endlessly gush about Hasek. God, I hate Hasek. Thank God he's retired. :p
