I figured this would be a good place to discuss other teams playoff series.

I just finished watching Calgary-San Jose. Calgary was firing on all cylinders early and seemed to go into defensive mode after that. They held on for a good win at San Jose. Good to see Calgary being very physical, should wear down the Sharks should they win. Calgary does look dangerous though, that is the one time I am glad we avoided in the first round.

Colorado also looked pretty good in their OT win against the Wild.

Overall a good night for the Ducks during their journey (hopefully) back to the Cup Finals.:handclap:

Im glad SJ lost. It makes me happy watching them choke yet again, if only for one game.

By the way, you're two Vezina finalists both had 3 goals scored on them tonight.

Playing 77 games in a season takes a toll on you and you're dust for the playoffs.

An ideal scenario for the Ducks is for 1, 4, 6, and 7 to advance to the second round. There are no cakewalk teams, but I think the Ducks probably match up the best against Colorado, and it could set up a rematch of last years WCF.

Assuming that the Ducks can actually beat Dallas.

I have a feeling Calgary beats San Jose. San Jose was too hot to end the year and they're due for a bit of a losing streak.

LOL @ Pittsburgh game. I expected the Penguins to win, but like 5-4 games. They got a shutout? And golden boy did nothing, while Malkin got a goal and 2 assists? And I see that Spezza and Heatley are continuing their playoff dominance from the SCF.

Thats what I said the other day to my dad. I think they peaked too soon. No team wants to peak in the regular season.

A little PE by the Sharks?

Nothing was more priceless than Joe Thornton missing on a breakaway in the 3rd period, way to shed that choker image Joe.

But, but.... hot streaks coming into the playoffs mean something! Just ask Minnesota and Vancouver, the hottest teams last season in the NHL since December and January (I don't remember which was which)! I mean, why else did they both go all the way win to the 07 Stanley Cup?
