Two members of the Albany River Rats have been reassigned to Adirondack of the United Hockey League.</td></tr></tbody> </table>
Forward Ahren Nittel, 20, and defenseman Tyler Hanchuck, 22, were added to the IceHawks' roster for this weekend's games. Nittel was scoreless in 28 games for the Rats and Hanchuck had an assist in 17 games.

Talk about a players stock dropping, this can't be seen as anything bad for Nittel. Are we affilated with Adriondack? I know we have none with the ECHL teams, we use to.

I don't think there is any Devils partnership with Adirondack at all. Its news to me if there is one.

Adirondack had a working agreement with Albany a couple of years ago when Gates Orlando was the coach of the Icehawks. When Gates went up to be a assistant with Albany the agreement ended. Their was no real affiliation. Nittel and Hanchuck were just sent down for 2 games. Nittel has a great wristshot and scored his first goal saturday night.
