Hey everyone! The non-profit that I work for is in desperate need of durable goods for our food boxes. I don't normally solicit donations like this, but we're helping more families than ever before this year, and need all the help we can get.

Family Support Network (http://www.familysupportnetworkca.com/) helps families of children who have mental or physical disabilities, and many of them live in terrible conditions. These food boxes go a long way to help families who are living off of food-stamps or less. Again, our organization only helps families who have children with mental or physical disabilities and are genuinely in need.

It would be a great help if you can donate any durable food goods, even if it's just stuff you have in your cupboard (as long as it's not expired.) Here's a list of the stuff that we normally use:

Spaghetti Sauce
Pasta/noodles (even ramen packets would be great)
Mac&Cheese
Tuna
Soup (cans)
PB&J
Canned Fruit/Veggies
Rice/Beans (you can buy a big 10 or 20lb bag of rice or beans really cheap, and we divide it into several smaller portions for multiple families.)

If any of you are interested in providing a complete food box, I can give you a full list of what we usually provide with each box.

Please PM or email me if you can help us out.

Did I mention that all donations are Tax Deductible?

Thanks in advance for your help!
