I know I was really hoping that he'd hit 80 points. Great job by Burke!

His goal output went down however which is concerning. 4 ppl goals is about 5 too few. He needs to shoot the puck more.

he should easily be a 30-50 guy for years to come, and that is his floor not his ceiling IMO.

He should win the Hart eventually... too bad the east have no clue about him and think Jeff Carter is better.

Getzlaf is the man. A fantastic season and he is still a kid. His best years are still ahead.

And Carlyle has done a wonderful job w/ both Getz and Perry in terms of pacing their development. It has done wonders for their confidence. Very happy with these results so far.

Getz is a definate lock up player, Perry too, without Getz he wouldn't score near as many points, they are a great duo, they will only do great things for the ducks, like Teemu and Kariya,imagine if we had them like we do with Getz and Perry!!!!!

Which in a way is a good sign...still shows plenty of room for improvement. I'm looking for a 30-60 year next year from him and a 40-40 year from Perry.

IMO, Getzlaf will be a 35 goal 70 assist player, in an 82 game season. Remember he has been sick and slightly injured for stretches this year, where we could all tell he wasn't 100%. If he was 100% all season long he would have hit 95-100 pts this year.

I agree with others though about his shot, I find myself yelling at him atleast 3 times a game, especially on the PP to shoot the mother ****ing puck! But, as others have said, that just means he has parts of his game that can be improved.

That he can definitely do, so long as he starts shooting more. The passing ability is no problem. I actually think he's an underrated passer by many people. He's got great vision. He just needs to use that shot more.

The East's fans, or the teams? Gezlaf quickly became one my favorites during last year's playoffs. I wish Horton would play a lot more like he does.
