I'd like re-post a comment made by Muttley that will all lighten the mood, while we get ready to endure on what hopes to be a 4th championship!!

We are going to need all the comic relief possible as I don't think we have a chance against that boring, yet effective NYR trap. (and ironically, it will be us that will be called "boring" by the North American press:shakehead)



But on a lighter note, the NYR do have plenty of comedic material. All their comedy of errors, hijinks, misadventures, close calls, near-misses, effeminate moments, etc.

In the 2006 playoffs, Jagr swinging and missing at Gomez, seperating his shoulder in the process. I couldn't stop laughing seeing it over and over again in slow motion replay. What a riot! :biglaugh:

I was in grade school back then and my older sister was part of the Ron Duguay fan club. (The one with the Afro) He was a fancy boy like Sean Avery, so I guess that it was O.K. for him in that ad. But Ron Greschner & Espo should hang their heads in shame.

I can't think of anything more effeminate than hockey players wearing tight, effeminate designer jeans, swishing around like a bunch of male figure skaters. I mean, designer jeans were only for woman and when guys wore them to school, they promptly were made fun of.

I always hank the higher power for making me a Devils fan. ;)

Actually now that I think of it, I don't know if the Internet & YouTube are such a good thing after all, because if it wasn't for them, this whole mess of an ad campaign would be where it belongs: In the trash heap of history.
