Oh damnit, what row?? And where'd you get them?
The view is great from 229,especially with the press box TVs above so we can see all the BS Toronto misses on reviews.
For an idea on what the place is like, check our sticky'd thread about it, and even ask some of your fellow fans - a lot of them have surprisingly had many nice things to say about it.
One thing Ranger fans and Devils fan can agree on - it's far better than the swamp.

I was just there last week - if you've ever been to Columbus's arena - it's much like that inside with the seating - but better as far as upper level view lines... the concourses are amazing. Get there early just to walk around and check things out. There didn't appear to be a bad seat in the house honestly. I can see why people want the cheapest tickets possible rather than paying prime $$ for lower level seats.
Have fun (but no good luck! :p:)

Hahahahaahah. He's probably in those ticketmaster seats right next to you. :biglaugh:
Darius Dangleaitis 04-04-2008, 05:03 PM You can't really lose as far as sight lines are concerned. I have seats in section 20, but a couple of my buddies have corner seats in the last row up top (209) and they say it's awesome even from up there.

I'm hoping it's the ones way up top - I snagged 2 off TM the other day in row 9, the ones next to me aren't ticketmaster - they're ebay/stubhub/craigslist

I just tried to get an extra pair in our section about 20 minutes ago and the entire UL is sold out.
OldBlueSeats 04-04-2008, 05:09 PM thanks for the honest answers guys...I got them on the website lastnight, funny thing the day before there wasnt anything good upstairs (center) game 1 then I checked last night and poof center.. they must trickle it out a little at a time. now theres zippo for game 1 upstairs. Rangers win tonight there will be a flood to the site.
Reverend_Hellh0und 04-04-2008, 05:10 PM thats just ticketmaster and its idiotic games.

Keep trying....TM always releases more as credit cards get maxed and orders are canceled. Or people order more than they're allowed to , stuff like that.

They'll hold some back hoping to sell lower level tickets and slowly release upper level cheap seats.
The upper decks have been pretty much full the last 2 months though so I wouldn't be surprised if they all sold already, plus many people up there are STH's.
What row did you get?
OldBlueSeats 04-04-2008, 05:12 PM thats just ticketmaster and its idiotic games.
1/2 the time I cant read the words??
how many rows upstairs?
I got row 3
Mr.Krinkle 04-04-2008, 05:15 PM Okay you're not in my row, that's good!
But you're lower in the section than me, ***
There's only 10 in that section I think, and it starts at row 2 for some odd reason.

That's a good point as they've done this ALL year. I guess I just thought they wouldnt do that for the playoffs but I bet you're right.

You're in for the time of your life, my fwend:thumbu:
DevsOwnYou 04-04-2008, 05:50 PM NYR fans should take this friendly advice and stay away from 208/209/210 and 233/232. You will not have a pleasant evening sitting in those sections regardless of what happens on the ice. Just some advice from a season ticket holder.
go to 228, 214 or 213 in the upper level. of course the lower level is mostly corporate so that will be a near split-you're better off down there.
pscoln1 04-04-2008, 06:45 PM the ROCK better be packed with devil fans come playoff time .... GOD IM SOOOO EXCITED!!!

We aren't as bad as though corners, but coming near 225-226 will get you some harassment, but not too much!

That corner is well-behaved. It's the 231-233 area where the STH are less well-behaved and less evolved than the humanoids from The Hills Have Eyes.

I wouldn't call it taking a chance, especially since the NYR have beaten us like 400 times this season and are undefeated at the Rock. ;)
It pains me to say it, but the NYR really do own us and if they continue to do so, I will hang my head in shame if Devils fans leave the game early and all that's left at the Rock are NYR fans.
That will be revenge for when we owned MSG at the end of Game 4 of the 06' playoffs.
Have a great time, spend a lot of money and thanks for helping Vanderbeek pay the bills.:thumbu:
BenedictGomez 04-04-2008, 08:31 PM It pains me to say it, but the NYR really do own us
I'd hardly say they "own" the Devils. Did you see all the games this year? I'd say they cleaned the Devils clock once. All the other games were a coin-toss that we happened to lose each time. A few of them were 20 to 1 shots that the Devils could lose, yet something bizarre would happen. That last game? 1000 to 1 shot. Net/net it will be an extremely close series and I'd be shocked it either team swept or won in 5. It will go 6 at least.

Put whatever spin you want on it, but they do own us this season, figuratively & literally. :sarcasm:
I can't stand it more than anyone here, but it is what it is and they are the worst possible playoff opponent we can face.
BenedictGomez 04-04-2008, 08:46 PM it is what it is and they are the worst possible playoff opponent we can face.
Disagree 100%. The regular season is meaningless when the playoffs start. Rangers Devils series would be a coinflip. Prior to the Alfredsson assasination, I though the worst matchup would be Ottawa regardless of how poorly they have been playing, because the Devils dont matchup well against speed.

I never liked that overused cliché.
Regular season or playoffs, the reality is that our offense is still atrocious and we cannot break through and extremely effective NYR trap, let alone get anything past Lundqvist.
Expect more of the same starting next week.

The Rags have much more skill and talent than us overall and now they have learned to play the trap well against us. We are decided underdogs going into this series for sure.
Any Devs effort like tonight and it could be an easy sweep for the team across the river.
