Even if Colorado wins their last game and Dallas doesn't get a point, they are even head to head and Dallas is killing them on goal differential.

The Ducks need to focus on that one point to lock up home ice and that's it.

Uhg, I hate Dallas, I would have rather played Calgary just for sheer enjoyment that series would have brought. I know our team is no symbol of excitment, but watching Dallas is about as enjoyable as watching paint dry.

Dallas is the worst team we can get.

The always seem to have our number when we play them, but playoffs are another story.
This is one of those series who could go easily to game seven.

Home ice is nice. It really helps us with the matchups. It would be nice to win the next 2 in case we make it to the SCF, it would be nice to have home ice for that series (fingers crossed).

I hate Dallas. They're boring, I hate Ribeiro, and Turco is really good at neutralizing our dump ins.

This is exactly the matchup I wanted. I think this will be a great series and I really, really want to be beat them in the playoffs. I like our chances too. With Zubov out and the way they've been playing added to our home ice advantage I'd say we are the favorites. Remember a number of our loses to them were without Scotty and Teemu.

I'd think the goaltender part was debatable, but on playoff reputation alone then I can see where you're coming from.

Looking forward to this series. About a month ago I was praying that we wouldn't play Dallas. But we've beaten Dallas the last two times we've played them, and Zubov is iffy for the series.

I'm optimistic.

When do we find out if we play on a Wed or Thurs? I hate how they wait until the last second...like people can change their work or school schedule around easily.

Why the hell did they put games 4 and 5 back to back? I can understand a back to back in say the Dallas games, but over a venue change?

I was hoping for FSN to get some of these games...versus sucks.

That's what happens when arenas get booked. These are pretty much the only dates remaining at the AAC at least that haven't been booked. I'm assuming there's something happening at Honda Center on that Saturday that is causing it to be a back to back.

And local television will still be available in the first round just like last year (well I haven't heard from Anaheim but I would think so, every game will be available in the DFW area at least).

I was hoping for FSN to get some of these games...versus sucks.
I would assume that FSN gets all the games that aren't on Versus. Although I can't find anything about it on the Ducks site, the FSN site, or the papers. But the websites are probably slow.

I even had to change a section for one of my classes to early in the morning because it was previously scheduled for 4:00-5:40 pm and I knew I'd probably be missing games...if that was the case, I wouldn't be able to pay attention in section anyway. Sadly though, I don't get Versus in my dorm :(

Ugh, I just picked up a shift today for Thursday I'm poor and weak. Word from the wise, don't move to LA unless you're wealthy or have no social life. Thank God for DVR.

I don't mind. I mean Dallas is playing back-to-back too. This way we don't have to wait a day to watch the next game. Days go by so slow during playoff time.

Certainly as a fan I have zero problems with teams playing back to back, but you'd think it would affect the Stars, going into enemy territory 24 hours after being in Dallas.

I know, I know, Ducks make the same trip, but they're on home ice, so it should be their advantage anyways.

Don't worry, I think every game will be on FSN or KDOC in low def.

I have versus but not sure of TSN...Thank goodness for my XM...will take it anyway I can get it
