I ...
I just want to know if you think Schneider will have a good season next year ? He will have 39 years old and Pronger / Niedermayer will be there all the year ( if healthy ).
Thx ..

Niedermayer might not be there and I think that has a lot to do with Schneider. I think the team doesn't want to have to rely on Schneider to be a big minute guy. With Pronger and Niedermayer (and Beauchemin) in the lineup, he usually gets about 20 minutes a game. With Pronger out right now, Schneider's getting 25+. With a player like Schneider, I don't think the fear is that he's suddenly going to play terrible, just more managing him appropriately, making sure he doesn't get burnt out and reducing the risk for injuries. Playing a 39 year old for 25-28 minutes a game consistently for a season is not a smart plan and I don't expect Anaheim to look in the direction. But, like I said, a lot of it depends on Niedermayer.

i know i would have never said this prior to this season but i wouldnt mind huskins logging big minutes abd schneider around 20 or so for next year to keep him fresh and play him 2 minutes on the PP.

I think part of the reason why both Huskins and O'Donnell are effective is because of how they are utilized. It's a tricky situation to judge, but I don't think either Huskins or O'Donnell are a long term solution or in a position to offer much more to the team then they already do.
