No way, first off I hate the FLyers. Secondly, they got a mean streak, I'd be afraid of them pulling some Broad Street Bully type stuff if on the brink of elimination.


Also, I'm gonna be down in Chapel Hill the weekend of the 19th, so I'd like to see the Canes stay in, I'd try to get to one of those games down there. I really hope that wedding doesn't interfere with any Devils home games.

Its great the Canucks didn't make it! It was reading's someone's comment about how the east can't stand up to the western teams but the Devils have beaten every western team we played this year except the Coyotes, Ducks and the Canucks. Coyotes and Canucks are gone at least.

So the only teams to really worry about are the Ducks and the Red Wings. I think we can take on the Ducks, but since we haven't played the Red Wings this year I'm not sure about the outcome.

Either way, if we make it that far, it would be a match to see how our players deal with either of those two teams.

Should the Devils face the Rangers and defeat them, the 2nd Round would likely not have the same intensity built into it. There may very well be a let down for the team advancing.

I don't see the Devils making it to the semis let along the finals and I hope they prove me wrong. But something about being 0 & 7 or possibiliy 0 & 8 against the Rags that just might light a fire under the Devils butts and I can see an upset, because I think we're under dogs going into the first round.

The Bruins clinch a playoff spot. by defeating the Senators in regulation. That was a big win by them.

Washington now has to win or finished tied in regulation tomorrow. The Capitals play the Panthers, who beat Carolina tonight, tomorrow at 7:00 PM EDT to decide the Southeast Division Championship and 3rd seed.

Can Ovechkin come up with another big game and clinch the Hart Trophy? I think he will likely win it even if Washington misses the playoffs. Marty would have been a great choice and is deserving, but the voters will go with an exciting forward over a goalie in most instances.

Looking at the highlights, the Stars-Sharks game looks to have been a slaughter with 170 penalty minutes. Stars won 4-2.

My prediction is it will take Toronto until next Tuesday to decide if this Calgary goal stands. IMHO it should be a goal.
