Overtime98 04-03-2008, 12:51 PM Dont know how legit this is or the website is.... but Color Red http://www.crystal-cure.com/red.html Red is the warmest of all colors. Red is the color most chosen by extroverts and one of the top picks of males. On the negative side red can mean temper or anger. In China, red is the color of prosperity and joy. Brides wear red and front doors are often painted red. Red is Tuesday's color. Red roses symbolize passionate love. Ruby rings should be worn on the left hand. Red is the color of Mars. This planet is known as the God of War. Red Energy Red is associated with fiery heat and warmth. It can also mean danger (burning). Red is the color of blood, and as such has strong symbolism as life and vitality. It brings focus to the essence of life and living with emphasis on survival. Red is also the color of passion and lust. Put some red in your life when you want: increased enthusiasm and interest more energy action and confidence to go after your dreams protection from fears and anxieties DevilBesideYou 04-03-2008, 12:51 PM I only have white jerseys. So nonconformist. MoonDragn 04-03-2008, 12:52 PM Imagine that, Red is my favorite color and I am Chinese and born on a Tuesday and theres nothing I love better than to take my anger out on someone. Randal Graves 04-03-2008, 12:53 PM Homo-erotica? What can I say? I want to play with the repairman's tools :biglaugh: (yes, I'm bored.. shouldn't have taken the day off) Randal Graves 04-03-2008, 12:55 PM http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2005/05/0518_050518_redsports.html "When opponents of a game are equally matched, the team dressed in red is more likely to win, according to a new study." MoonDragn 04-03-2008, 01:03 PM "Where there was a large point difference—presumably because one contestant was far superior to the other—color had no effect on the outcome," Barton said. "Where there was a small point difference, the effect of color was sufficient to tip the balance." So are you saying the Rangers are far superior to us? Randal Graves 04-03-2008, 01:06 PM So are you saying the Rangers are far superior to us? Not me! Scientists.. and they're never wrong. Das Uber 04-03-2008, 01:10 PM I only have white jerseys. So nonconformist. Way to conform with the nonconformists. Tool. DevilsFan38 04-03-2008, 01:14 PM Well, I was planning on alternating my Stevens (white) and Brodeur (red) jerseys, but it looks like I'll be going with Brodeur the whole way. The Mad Crapper 04-03-2008, 01:49 PM What can I say? I want to play with the repairman's tools :biglaugh: (yes, I'm bored.. shouldn't have taken the day off) Thanks for your interest in my tools, Randal! LOL I'll let you slide on that one. (Pun intended) And that's Senior Senile to you! ;) Regarding the red jerseys, I happened to score (a few years ago) a miscolored Devils sweater that was actually burgundy & cream colored, instead of red & white. Super Cool looking & one shirt that I always get complements on when I wear it out. I'll be "rockin' that one at the rock when I go! Sarge18 04-03-2008, 02:01 PM Well we'll now know for sure how divided the crowd is for Devils/Rangers if/when we meet them in the first round. I guess the top half of the $95 seats will be a patch of blue. I remember the home opener was a sea of mostly red jerseys and it looked pretty cool. Doc even commented to Chico when he thought his mic was off "looks like they sold a lot of jerseys". cj225 04-03-2008, 02:08 PM I hope they give us towels instead of those STUPID thunder sticks!!! Darius Dangleaitis 04-03-2008, 02:48 PM A red out would be awesome, or even a white out. Reverend_Hellh0und 04-03-2008, 02:49 PM it didn't get them very far though. You might say they were "orange crushed" no? :sarcasm: cj225 04-03-2008, 02:51 PM A red out would be awesome, or even a white out. They tried a "white out" once. They handed out T-shirts that said "Wear white"...except that the word wear was spaced out so it looked like: WE AR White (we are white)....with a picture of NJ in the middle. They handed them out at Devils and Nets game during the playoffs...I told you they can't get anything right! ALine9900 04-03-2008, 03:01 PM Come on with the free red t's....a red out would be so sick. Game Breaker 04-03-2008, 03:25 PM I only have white jerseys. So nonconformist. Ditto, Brodeur and Elias jerseys in white. I'm not a fan of the red for home games, not to mention, we are never going to pull it off like Calgery which is a sea of red. Too many people have white jerseys since white was the home color for so long. The only way it would be possible is if, as stated, they handed out free t-shirts at the game, and still, I would rather wear my jersey instead of a t-shirt. Clarkson Falls Down 04-03-2008, 04:21 PM Ditto, Brodeur and Elias jerseys in white. And we all know that the Devils are too cheap to do that. And no to thundersticks--those are for basketball. njdevsfn95 04-03-2008, 04:35 PM my red jersey is signed by a ton of players, Sutter, and Lou so theres no way I'm wearing that! I have a Gionta jersey...but its white. looks like I'll wear my Gionta jersey with my red Gionta t-shirt over it. they should hand out red tshirts to people NOT wearing anything Devils related at the very least. Richer's Ghost 04-03-2008, 04:49 PM everyone take red laser pointers and make the ice look like it's alive!!!! Or shine them in the goaltender's eyes... it's not like they would actually have the means or muscle to throw out 15,000+ people :sarcasm: devsfan4life 04-03-2008, 05:52 PM Red towels > white towels The pom poms given out from 1995-2000 > Towels/Thundersticks but i definitely want the towels over thundersticks. Jiri Bicek 04-03-2008, 05:56 PM They tried a "white out" once. They handed them out at Devils and Nets game during the playoffs...I told you they can't get anything right! Ha i remember that. I actually still have that shirt in my closet.. The problem was is that the shirts were belly shirts.. For some reason they were ridiculously short and really long on the sleeves Thundersticks are the absolute worst :pullhair: Love the towels though We'll get our fair share of people wearing red but this won't work unless they hand out shirts at the door Mr.Krinkle 04-03-2008, 06:01 PM I don't think they'll ever do the Thundersticks after the Madden hat trick and they littered the ice with them things. I've been saying for a few years that red towels would rock, but red is an expensive dye so I doubt they'd go the extra mile for red towels when white ones are far cheaper. EDIT: Oh and no way in hell they hand out red shirts if we get the Rags in the first round, that'll just cause problems. ADD-devil950003 04-03-2008, 06:15 PM man, i feel like a dick saying this but, im wearing my white stevens jersey. my superstitious self believes that i have bad luck not wearing it. also i dont have any of the red jerseys, just the old home white:help: DevilFisch 04-03-2008, 07:15 PM Well, I bleed Devils red; but wearing red is a much better option than bleeding myself and then covering my skin in the residue.
