Playoff broadcasting?

How the games televised this season?
I don't get FSNY/MSG Plus or Versus, only regular MSG, so I'm really hoping for a Devils/Rangers playoff series.
Are they on Versus, NBC, will MSG be showing them (hopefully)?

First round, definetly, we will see games on MSG+. If we get to round 2, then a couple of games, if not all, will be on Versus. Last year the away games at Ottawa were on Versus. And 2 Versus games were also in the Carolina series two years back.

Yes you'll get all games that aren't on Versus or NBC, which is a good deal. BUt as the number of teams shrink in the 2nd round, you won't get as many games because of Versus.

I wish the Devils would just play all of their playoff games on MSG+. in 1994, they played all of their playoff games on SportsChannel NY but in the years after that, they only showed the first 2 rounds and then it went on national TV. Since Versus is a small station, I don't get it so I'm screwed if the Devils go to the Conference Finals.

The CI coverage is effected by the schedule. VS will do doubleheaders most nights they have a late night feed to rip-off from CBC, if they don't produce the game themselves.

Last year, the CI coverage sucked. Us, the Rags and the Isles ate up 3 of the Eastern series, VS jumped on the Crosby bandwagon, and almost all the latenights ended up on VS.

Theoretically. But knowing Center Ice online, they will find a way to screw it up. 7 games were messed up this season for the devils. 7 that I couldn't catch either a little or all of because of screw ups on their end.

I have CI but I don't know what I'll do if the Devils head into the conference finals. I'll probably have to get cable (but first I'll need a tv :))

and we know that never happens... so no HD for me... :cry:

Versus is blacked out in the teams local markets for the 1st two rounds (with exception for 2 second round game). So all games will be on MSG + except if there is an NBC game (which there won't be they will select the Pens series).

There is really no more excuse not to have it, since they have MSG+ HD
