The Ducks dominated this game and shouldn't have even let Dallas have a point. Turco did some amazing saves on Sutherby and Kunitz.

Some more thoughts on the game:

I'll take Dipenta over Bergeron right now. That was a pathetic turnover. Dipenta would have turned it over, but it would have been at least near the blue line.

Beauchemin REALLY blows right now. He's definitely going to have to step it up next year. Right now I'd even go as far to saying: Huskins>Beachemin.

Glad to see OD put the beat down on that one jackass.

Also I really hope being a healthy scratch wakes Weight up.

I really don't like the line combinations Carlyle is using. He needs to swtich Ryan and Selanne's spots. However, I won't even begin to argue that I know as much about hockey as RC, but I do wish he would try it for a game or so.

The player that annoyed me most tonight was Getzlaf. ****ing SHOOT. *******, that kid won't take a shot to save his life. He's definitely been Bertuzzied. With Nieds not shooting either the only guy that took PP shots from the point was Schnieder. Whaddaya know.

I miss Perry.

The play by MAB in my opinion was just stupid, it definitely was bad luck, but if he simply rims it around the boards that doesn't happen.

I've tried to defend Beauchemin for awhile. But crap, that was awful. The interference play was a brain fart all the way, along with the icing with 3 seconds left. *** is the matter with him?

I agree about MAB. I was actually pretty impressed with him, turnover aside. I'd have to look at the turnover again to judge it either way, but other than that I thought he was making good decisions with the puck, and his passing was fantastic out of his own end and into the neutral zone.

Getzlaf does need to let it go more. He is such a good playmaker though, I can see why sometimes he gets lost in the pass-first mentality.

Shooting the puck enough has been a battle with him all season though. I have no doubt that the shoulder is still smarting, but he's had a pass-first mentality for most of the season.

Yeah, MAB's laboring under the same prejudice that Ozo had while he was here. I've seen MAB make some risky plays, but they're honestly the same plays that Scotty makes and gets away with (in terms of choosing passing options in the d zone).

Maybe he can't always pull them off, but I'm not going to get down on someone who's trying to ease the pressure and start the transition actively.

Yep. 23 goals for a guy with his shot and smarts are just not enough.

i actually agree with the fans who know nothing that yell shout when there is no shooting lane when they shouted it at Getz. oh well, good win only need 2 more points to guarantee 4th seed right?

Anyone notice when Ryan stickhandles 1 on 1 he actually completes the move, whereas 90 percent of the time Perry or Getz try it it's broken up..

Ryans moves usually amount to nothing however. He has a really hard time getting either the puck or himself in prime scoring areas, something that needs to change.

Getzlaf's shoulder had to be bothering him. He didn't take any faceoffs last night and you could just tell he wasn't 100%. Personally I'm hoping that the Ducks give him the night off against the next game. He does need to shoot more though.
