Teemu's kid

Anyone see that on the FSN broadcast? They were presenting Teemu with an award and they bring out a wagon of toys and one of his kids gets this psycho look on his face and creeps toward the toys. Someone please make an animated GIF of this! :biglaugh:

I thought that he was going to explode right there on the ice. I'm sure that before the ceremony he was told/warned/bribed/threatened that he had to stand there quietly & behave while Dad was doing his thing. The slow dawning on his face that all those toys were for him was so funny to watch. You could almost see the mental gyrations going on: "Mom & Dad said that I have to stand here quietly, but if I were to pull one of these out & sit down & play quietly it's almost the same thing....."

That was a classy act by the organization to recognize the whole family & not just give Teemu another watch/framed print.

Did anyone else find it kind of strange Teemu got all this Disney stuff and we aren't owned by them anymore? They got a two night stay at the resort and all those movies and toys and stuff. I know Teemu loves Anaheim, but does he love Disney that much?

I seem to remember a few interviews years back where he did comment on liking Disneyland that much. At the same time, Disney seems to be involved with the club on a corporate partnership or sponsorship level. They're going to have some giveaways at the Fan Appreciation night as well, and I'm sure other events. I wouldn't read anything more into it than the club having a decent business development staff in the front office.

Speaking of interview anyone remember when Scott Niedermayer and his family were on Jay Leno and his son kicked his other son. That was very funny.

I do remember reading how Teemu and his family loves Disneyland. When Disney used to owned the Ducks, i think the players also got free passes to the park and i remember reading Teemu saying he and his kids love it, that they can go anytime they want.

Oh, Teemu's baby daughter is so cute! That was an awww moment...

Ironically, I met Teemu for the first time at Disneyland when they held FanFair there.

Finnish tv aired an interview made at Teemu's house today and during it Teemu's boys were playing ball hockey in the background by the pool with their friends. During the interview one of them came behind Teemu's left shoulder with a toy light sabre and said something about a "the power of the dark side". Teemu smiled and looked briefly at him. Then later one of them walked right in front of the camera and looked at the lens quickly. Then later one of them walked behind Teemu again and waved at the camera. It was so hilarious to see. :biglaugh: I'm thinking Teemu might have had a word with the kids about behaving when there's camera crews around the house. And btw, they were indeed all playing with righty sticks.
