I have to admit that I take him for granted as he just fills up the bench but now I believe he may the Second coming of Bryzgalov. We will see come playoff time.

Wow He was amazing.

His accent is perfect.

Yeah, it is, but I just can't imagine Hiller saying "I don't know what this, it just Duck".

Burke's quote - "We feel he is the real deal".

Agree.

Hiller > Bryz. This kid has blown me away (after a bit of a shaky start). I feel very comfortable with him in goal; that wasn't exactly the case with Bryz.

Wow He was amazing.

I'm hoping not exactly like Bryz... cuz Bryz often lets in an easy goal. After a performance like these past games... wow! I set at ease that Bryz was let go.

Hiller has been freaking awesome for us lately. The Hiller chant tonight was great and I happily joined in. I wasn't worried at all when they announced Jiggy couldn't play tonight because I knew Hiller was up to the challenge.

Hiller has been great the past 10 or so games. He's improved a lot since his first few games, where he was letting in some soft goals.

That said, you do know what happens to every goaltender the day there's a thread made about how well they're playing?

Wow, Hiller's been fantastic. He does have a quick glove hand and really snaps it.

Jonas Hiller was unbelievable. These saves are was fantastic. He is a great Nr.2 goaltender.

Mr.Burke you must resign with Hiller!

We will see come playoff time.

No, we won't- unless Giguere is injured or we're getting blown out. I am comfortable knowing we have an eminently capable backup in case that happens though.

If he keeps playing this well, is he going to be happy being a backup goalie for 3 or 4 more years? Might be tough to keep him for that long.

I thought he was going to disappear in the minors after a dubious start of the season, but he took his play on a new level lately.

Hope he keeps up the pressure during the playoffs when Jiggy will need some rest.

I thought Hiller was excellent last night - he made some awesome saves. In my opinion he deserved the 1st star, no offense to Mr. Ryan.

Could be. We don't know how Jiggy's back is doing.

Hiller is an incredible talent. He has the best lateral movement I've ever seen for a butterfly-type goalie. Amazing glove hand as well. However, I'd like to see his performance after teams have played against him a few times before annointing him as the second coming of Patrick Roy.

I don't think anyone here is saying Hiller is the second coming of Patrick Roy. I see Ducks fans expressing their appreciation for a very good back up goalie who has progressed nicely since the start of the season and played very well over the last few games when the Ducks needed him to step up.

How things change. But he has played well in these games and has adjusted his game to the NHL. Of course most shooters haven't seen him before, and once they've made adjustments things could change.

But a very good sign that he has played so well in such a critical time.
