With two games against St.Louis left, we could very well be 14th in the Conference by the time the season is officially over...Despite more points, it doesn't matter, other teams aare getting better, seemingly fast then we are.

it seems like they don't understand some of the simplest things:

more shots on goal means more goals (possibly)

good passing impresses everyone but the scoreboard - shoot the damn puck

Z - you've got mad skills sometimes but christ - everyone knows your slick moves and you get the puck stolen more and more - learn something new please

Well. tonights game was a crapfest for the BJ's..but it made me love Rick Nash so much more for his effort.

Admittedly, I hadn't been out to a game this year due to some financial constraints and my busy schedule, but I had a chance to show up.

Incidentally, the last game I had been to was a Red Wings game. This team played identical to what they played when we had the blessing of seeing Gallant coaching this team.

Definitely hope Hitch dashes the lines against the rocks and trys some creative things down this last strech to let the guys play for their positions vs. the youngsters

Just back from the game. From the drop of the first puck, the CBJ were content to bend over and let the Wings have their way with them. We still have too much loser mentality in the locker room. Some of them simply don't believe in this club, this organization or, worse yet, their own abilities.

Props to Nash for being the only one who seemed like he wanted to win.

I was at the game, several of us did all we could to inspire the Jackets but to no avail.

Nash was the best player on the ice as he has been since being named Captain but even he and his new inspiratrion was not enough to win tonight.

From the grapevine, Nash is not going to put up with a losing Blue Jacket organization forever if the franchise doesn't get their act together and get a winning roster on the ice soon, you can determine when soon is soon... No links or anything else to back that up....just what I heard.

I went further.... they need to make it to at least the second round by 09-10, or Nash is not sticking around. I couldn't blame the guy...how many captains does this team have to lose before they make a decision that they want to start winning? Nash will only be 26 (?) when his contract is up... Don't think someone won't throw 6 or 7 years at an average of 5.5-7.5 mil a season and think nothing of it.

If we don't sign Nash to an extension, we won't win a bidding war when he goes to Free Agency.

no, its a mentality. I the problem I have is that despite over a year under Hitch, this team can still come out and look like the 02-03 team...

If we DONT make the playoffs next year, and the year after that Nash leaves... I'm not sure the blue jackets would survive it. Not here at least.
