In honor of this rainy Saturday, I think we could use a lounge to discuss utter nonsense without cluttering up other threads!

Post away!

I can gauge the severity of the rainfall based on weather or not my sunroof leaks. Thanks to the monsoon, I have water all over my dash.

Sadly, I'm going to have to tape this one and watch it when I get home. I'm friends with a bunch of greek people who are throwing a huge greek night on campus. Its a big formal dinner-dance thing. It would be nice if they had a tv in there with the game, but at the same time, I would rather tape it and watch it by myself to see how everyone plays.

Yeah I feel ya on that. I never like watching hockey with non-hockey fans usually. They either ask too many questions for which I get quiet impatient or they make cracks like "what's this thing that's on". I generally just like to watch games either with hockey fans or in the privateness of my own room.

Any sports marketing job = long hours, thankless effort, under market pay... but you get to say you did it and meet the guys. Good luck with that if you go that direction. Make it a quick stepping stone to somewhere else if you do it. Oh and don't ask to see Lou's war room... :sarcasm:

Pancakes with extra bacon, and a nice cup of tea is probably the best breakfast I have ever had on a Monday morning.

However, sat at work, when its pissing down outside makes me feel down.

No rain here in DC, but two turning your room upsidedown because you here a mouse in it is never fun, especially at 7am. So, who has an ideas for bait for the mousetrap?

Cat.

:biglaugh:

I'm investing in some mousetraps later today, should be fun. I'm torn though, do I want to bait them and try to attract the damn vermin back into my room for trapping, or leave them by the walls where I know the mice will be walking if they come back in.

I don't know about you, but I have trouble living somewhere if there was a mouse, or even worse, a rat, in my room or house.

I'm like Frank Costanza in that fact too. He couldn't live with a mouse in the house. ;)

Invest in a cat then. I have two. I used to have a mouse problem in the basement til one of my cats accidentally got locked in there one night. I haven't seen any signs of those mice around since LOL.

Well thank God my house hasn't had a cat problem since 2000 I think. And I don't think my dog will be too taken to the idea of a cat running around in the house. That could start some trouble.
