Pefect fit to Start Weekes this weekend

I have to think that Weekes plays tonight vs TB or more likely tomorrow vs Tor!
It makes Sense, but we have all been wrong a ton on this subject.
The guy has been vey patient, Lou and Brent gotta throw him a bone at some point. Plus he is a Toronto Native!

Forget about it. It's not happening anymore this year. I've given up on this subject.

Would you trust Weekes against Lecavalier and St. Louis?

I do know we're gonna have a really tough fight against the Leafs Sat. So no matter what happens I hope Marty is in net Sat and sharp.

Theres more chance of me being drafted this summer.

Also, Sutter and Marty have made it pretty well known that he is getting plenty of rest between games.

I say we see Weekes maybe once more before the end of the season.

If it's not this weekend, then I say it won't be until we play Boston in April.

I know it has been discussed to no end, but to me it is not really about giving Marty a rest anymore. This is not Scott Clemmensen, Weekes is a quality back up, i think for his own confidence it would help. Plus i would like him to stay sharp too.

I have noticed a lot of teams using thier backups this week....And with some pretty good results


But he does have the best seat in thehouse otherwise.

Marty doesn't do well against Tampa anyway, so Weekes should play tonight instead of playing tomorrow against the Leafs.

I think Marty's gonna play against Toronto. The main reason being is that we are competing for 1st place in the east and Toronto is playing for 8th. Despite the win on tuesday, Toronto is one of those teams that has had success against the Devils and the last thing I think the team wants to do is face them in the first round. A good way to avoid that is to put another nail in their coffin by beating them tomorrow night with Brodeur in the crease.

I agree with jrsyDevil13 who said if we really want to play Weekes it should be against Tampa tonight instead of Toronto tomorrow.

Tonight's game may be Weekes' last opportunity to start, but I don't see it happening. We need these points more then ever.

Weekes has always played well against Toronto. You definitely should start him there as he'll probably give you a nice, big win.

Tampa is trying to tank. I think we should start Weekes tonight against them.

Brodeur hasn't played a game in 3 nights he's starting tonight.

And if Brodeur doesn't start on a Saturday night in Canada, I'd Be Ultra-shocked

man. i only get to see the devils twice a year.... ( the 2 times they visit the acc in toronto ) if he sits out on sat night! I WILL BE SUPER PISSSSED
