Per TG. (http://njmg.typepad.com/devilsblog/2008/03/zajac-shifted-t.html#more)

No surprise there, he'd certainly be deserving.

Considering what he went through to get back on the ice this season its a no brainer.

btw Zajac playing right wing?

Sutter's lines are provoking great confusion in me.

Sutter's lines are provoking great confusion in me.

I have Zajac playing RW in EHM 07 and in 2009 he hit 77 points playing there with Elias on the left and Parise at center. Sutter, try it!

Elias-Parise-Zajac
Gionta-Zubrus-Langenbrunner

Oh and good for Whitey.

I guess it's OK to try it, although I just can't see Zajac having success there. He's a centerman.

I'm more confused about having Rupp playing with those guys. Rupp is a 4:th liner, even if one could argue that this is the new 4:th line.

I'd try Clarkson up there with Zajac and Zubrus.

Parise-Elias-Langenbrunner
Clarkson-Zubrus-Zajac
Pandolfo-Madden-Gionta
Asham-Rupp-Brylin

It sucks that Martin is still out. We need him badly. These upcoming games are huge.

Good to see Zajac positive about the change, however he is one of our best faceoff men, not sure about switching him.

Rupp - Zubrus - Zajac

Hmmm - I like it! :)

Big & Slow, but they could do something in a cycle down low and maybe come up with some offense out of Zajac.

The resulting lines;

Parise-Elias-Langenbrunner
Pandolfo-Madden-Gionta
Rupp-Zubrus-Zajac
Asham-Brylin-Clarkson/Pelley

This really seals Pando-Madden-Gionta as the 2nd scoring line.

Asham-Brylin-Clarkson is too similar to Rupp-Zubrus-Zajac to keep these together too long unless Zajac catches fire on wing IMO.

Btw, I'm happy for Whitey! Can't think of a better pick for it this year! :handclap:
He's been a warrior this year and it's great to see him out there playing as well as he is with only one fully functional eye.

He's not that good really at faceoffs - Zubrus is better in fact, so it's a positive move in that regard.

Madden - 54.44%
Zubrus - 53.39%
Rupp - 51.56%
Zajac - 51.23%
Pelley - 45.67%
Elias - 45.22%
Brylin - 45.11%

That's why he is out, these next two games aren't very important.

Good for Whitey. He's deserving.

But Paul-Mart  I only have two healthy defensemen on my fantasy team now. But this is where all those dmen come in handy, I guess. Luckily the current 6 have been playing well.

Zubrus is actually very good on the faceoff, he would probably be 2nd on this team on faceoffs if given the oppurtunity.

Also, Zajac plays RW on my EHM game, lots of assists. Lets hope that transistions to real life :biglaugh:

Zajac can play RW, EHM says so.

weird b/c i called for zubes to be put on a line with rupp and zajac earlier, b/c back towards the end of january, when rupp was being moved all over (when langs was out w/ the flu) he played great and looked to be comfortable w/ zubes. plus zubrus is a beast on faceoffs.

Good (only) choice in White. I thought a while back when the NHL did the article on Dowd that it would be nice to give up their nominee and support Jersey Jim as the Devils selection but then I remembered White and what he's gone through this year.

By the way, why does every thread nowadays break out into spontaneous descriptions of what lines everyone wants to see?

I don't know.. some people around here are prAsham-Brylin-Clarkson

ahh!

Ok, back on topic.. I like the idea, those 3 all have good puck control skills and size, they could make for a nice checking line that could net some goals.

The 4th line just got a lot faster because of this too.. interesting. Let's see how long it lasts.

Nice interview with White and Sherry Ross. He said he could pick up the puck really well his first time back on the ice and has felt confident since day one of his return. Colin deadpanned that the experience has been a real eye-opener.

Good for Whitey. Tom also had some good comments (http://njmg.typepad.com/devilsblog/2008/03/white-its-nice.html#more) from him.

Best part of the quote right here:
I never felt that I was ready to be done playing and I owe a lot to the organization...
