I guess I have rather have the Devils go on a huge losing streak and miss the playoffs. At least with that option, there is a chance that the Rangers won't make the playoffs either.

haha are you kidding, of course i would. Sweeping the rangers this year would make it even more amazing. Also add another cup for brodeur.

Yes. As much as I love Marty, Gretzky would bring Jersey so much more exposure to hockey that we don't have right now (imagine Crosby with the Devils). Plus, we'd probably be playing an offensive game which means we wouldn't have to face all the nagging for being "boring."
