I hate to pick on this guy considering his injury to his eye....however, I have noticed a big drop in his play.

his ability to move the puck up and cross ice when breaking out has always been poor, it seems now with his eye injury that it is not even an option now for him to move the puck cross ice on a breakout.

I am aware of his defensive partner and also aware that he gets the duty many nights of checking the oppositions best players, but right now for 3 million per i cannot say i am in love with his play.

he came back from injury and looked good and solidified our d a little but lately he makes me very nervous out there.

what say you?

This is the 3rd Colin White thread since Saturday, that must be some sort of record.

Anyway, Colin's been fine.

I could be drunk, but didn't White just get a goal and an assist a couple games' back?

I think Colin White is doing a decent job and has an important role on the team. I do, however, question his ability to "see" out there and wonder just how bad the vision in the one eye is. I do think it's possible his range of vision is still impaired.

This might be the 3rd negative c. white thread since saturday but here's the real questions... how many times are there positive c. white threads?? nope not many. we won't get rid of him and if we try to he'll just retire anyways.

Hmm, Colin's made a lot fewer mistakes than any of our other defenders and has been pretty solid. And he's got 2 goals in the past few games.

Gotta ask but have you actually been watching the games?

every one my friend. of course white doesn't make as many blatent errors because all he can do when he gets the puck his fire it straight ahead and constantly give the other team posession

i am not wanting to bash the guy, but he is our second highest paid defensman and i dont think he is worth 3 million per. if he starts making "mistakes" as you call them then he is totally worthless. my point is the guy cannot get the play moving forward at all.

he played better tonight against canes, he was horrid against anaheim.
