Reverend_Hellh0und 02-07-2008, 11:57 AM I have noticed the past few weeks that it seems there are a few Ranger fans in jerseys at every single one of our home games. Always in the lower bowl cheering for whatever team we happen to be playing against.
There is the one on the right of me that I have seen get kicked out twice, and then there is a group of like 5 who I noticed a while back and were real loud at the kings game over in the corner. (real loud until we started rolling LA like a cigarette).
I have seen at least a couple of them on nights when the Rangers are playing.
Now these bozos are sitting in $95 seats.
What is the deal with these characters....
Anyone seen em?
MartyOwns 02-07-2008, 12:01 PM just smile and say "thanks for the revenue!"

Hmm, and apparently it's the Devils fans who have an inferiority complex...
MortUWary 02-07-2008, 12:10 PM 1. Jerks are jerks, no matter which team they root for (and embarrass the entire fan base in the process.)
2. Maybe they live too far out in Jersey to go to MSG, but they love hockey.
3. Let's be realistic: where is it easier to get seats? The Rock or MSG? :sarcasm:
devilsrock 02-07-2008, 12:12 PM its because of the new stadium, most likely
Jiri Bicek 02-07-2008, 12:12 PM The same thing happened at CAA
Wearing a Ranger jersey to a Devils game when the Rangers aren't playing is just asking for attention.. Only bad things can come out of it for the Ranger fan
Reverend_Hellh0und 02-07-2008, 12:16 PM 1. Jerks are jerks, no matter which team they root for (and embarrass the entire fan base in the process.)
:thumbu: Always believed that.

Most likley its a toss up with the trains now no?

Uhm bout equally as easy. If they were in the cheapies I'd say maybe you have a point but they are spending about $100 a game even on nights the Rangers are playing a team like the coyotes.
DevsOwnYou 02-07-2008, 12:19 PM They like our arena better than the old & dirty one they have. :naughty:

Is the Rock sold out every game??? MSG is and any seats that people "pick up" are on the secondary market (i.e. scalpers, stubhub, message boards, friends.)
With all due respect, you're wayyyyy off in making that claim. Check ticketmaster and try to snag tix for the Rangers at the Garden against anyone and the Devils at the Prudential Center against anyone. What are your results?
MortUWary 02-07-2008, 12:24 PM They like our arena better than the old & dirty one they have. :naughty:
ZING! Actually, the garden is like your high school girlfriend. She's filled with good memories and good times. Sometimes you even have GREAT times there now. But there are newer and better girls out there (the Rock) and sometimes we just need to experience what everyone else is! :naughty:
Sort of like why I'm on the Devils board today, LOL!
Reverend_Hellh0und 02-07-2008, 12:29 PM Is the Rock sold out every game??? MSG is and any seats that people "pick up" are on the secondary market (i.e. scalpers, stubhub, message boards, friends.)
Funny how many empty seats I see at the Garden for those "sold out games"
With all due respect, your wayyyyy off in making that claim. Check ticketmaster and try to snag tix for the Rangers at the Garden against anyone and the Devils at the Prudential Center against anyone. What are your results?
Uhm. If i want tickets to either a devils or a rangers game I can get them just as easy to most of them.
The Rangers are a bigger market so what, You put the phoenix coyote in MSG they would do exactly the same.
Point of this thread was to discuss the bozos in rangers jerseys coming to the rock to root for whoever the devils are not (even on nights the Rangers play a team like the coyotes where stub hub has tix for under face value)....
Not the point of this thread: to get into an attendence argument with a ranger fan.
MortUWary 02-07-2008, 12:31 PM Not the point of this thread: to get into an attendence argument with a ranger fan.
Agreed. But when I see someone make a comment that isn't accurate, I have to argue that point. It doesn't matter how many empty seats you look at, try to get tickets for that game and unless you know somebody or pay through the nose, you can't. It's not like you can pick up seats at the box office, which you can do at the Rock. Right or wrong?
Jiri Bicek 02-07-2008, 12:32 PM Do we really have to turn this into another attendance thread about "sell outs"??

Nah, there have been enough threads about Gomez already :sarcasm:
ILikeItVeryMuch 02-07-2008, 12:35 PM Come on guys, everyone knows every single seat at MSG is filled for every Rangers home game. :sarcasm:
The "we have more fans" argument has no relevance to hockey. The Nazi party had a huge following too.
MortUWary 02-07-2008, 12:35 PM Stubhub
Please re-read my post. That would be "paying through the nose" would it not? The point was can you go to the box office at MSG and snag tix on game day? The answer is no. Flip the scenario and go to the box office at the Prudential Center and you can get tickets on game day.
ALine9900 02-07-2008, 12:37 PM It's lame that they come to our games just to cheer for the other team, but they're actually supporting us, so whatever. Maybe they're afraid to sit in the cheap sections :sarcasm:
MortUWary 02-07-2008, 12:37 PM The "we have more fans" argument has no relevance to hockey. The Nazi party had a huge following too.

frozenrubber 02-07-2008, 12:37 PM I'm a Ranger fan and get WAY more offers for free tickets @ Prudential than for MSG.
Hockey is hockey, and free is free. I would bet money they aren't paying $95 for those seats, or anything for that matter.

http://www.stubhub.com/new-york-rangers-tickets/?event_id=422378
I can get center 225 for $120 thats a lower ticket than the Rock and $20 more
I can get 125 for $200 that is the same price as our clubs in the same area.
There are 272 seats alone on stubhub as of now mostly in line with face value or less (see tix in the 300's)
Tix are more expensive in NY and that it should be given the economy.
But let me end this typical ranger tangent with this fact. Ranger tickets are not hard to get and their costs are relative to the market they play in.
Now back to my topic?

The devils specifically do not sell a certain number of seats before the night of the game so that people always have a chance to go before the game and get them...
I took a rags fan friend of mine to the game against the kings. He saw a rags jersey and said that it was retarded to wear one when they weren't even playing. I hope they realize that they look like retards. I've gone to rags games where they are playing other teams and I either wear nothing hockey related, or I'll wear my north stars jersey, not my devils one. They do it to heckle people, but again, it just makes them look like bigger morons.
devilsrock 02-07-2008, 12:46 PM its funny my boss offered me 2 tickets to the rangers game a few weeks ago , I live 10 min away from the garden and I turned him down. when he asked me why, I replied I would rather go see a little league hockey game than watch them scrubs at the garden.
what fun is it to go see a team you hate , I cant understand why ranger fans do that I guess they get off on annoying devil fans.

Corporations own much of the lower levels EVERYWHERE. That's why real season ticket owners balk at paying those lower bowl rates.
And with corporate season ticket holders, there are many free tickets to be had. While tickets are given away by corporations all the time for MSG too, those tickets are snapped up quicker. On most nights, many corporate level seats are given away within companies (especially for non-premier games like vs. the Coyotes).

I guess the reason why Rangers fans have a problem getting along with you is because you lack reading comprehension skills. Do you understand what a box office is??? You're arguing semantics and not what I brought up. Of course if you have enough money, you can get anything (tickets, club seats, women, cars, etc...) That wasn't what I brought up. The point I raised was where is it easier to get tickets? The box office at the venue is the easiest way. Can you get tickets on the day of the game from the box office at the Garden? NO. I think that depends though. If it were a Weekes jersey (because we all know that no self-respecting Ranger fan would have a Rachunek jersey), then I'd be okay with that. If it were blank or had a name of a guy who wasn't playing in the game, then that's just lame. But if it's a player currently on one of the teams playing in the game, I don't really care.
The Rangers fans who come just to root against us are lame and just asking for trouble, BUT they do spend money on beer, etc. and that helps us out.

You would figure the team whos fans scoff at the Devils and Islanders attendance would have a packed to the brim lower bowl, no matter what. Maybe there is a reason you can barely see the crowd on TV during some games at MSG. I would really like to see where I can get free Devils tickets, amuse me.

I take a Rangers friend of mine to the games often when I have an extra ticket. Sometimes he wears a subdued rangers hat no big deal.
I go to blackhawks and flames games at the garden when they rarely happen, and I'll wear a not so loud devils hat with my hawks or flames jersey and I often have great conversations with people. But I don't go to every ranger game I can to root for the blue jackets or the panthers..... :shakehead

No you are arguing semantics. Stub hub is easier than the box office and has little to do with actual costs or availability of tickets. my point is and has always been that ranger tickets are not hard to come by especially if you are paying $95 to see the devils on a night the Rangers are playing the panthers. (stub hub has em for $95 and less)

I don't know where the confusion is here. I wasn't espousing there was some secret ticketmaster coupon link for free tickets or people stand out side of Penn giving them away.
I know of 4 companies that have a bank of season tickets at Prudential. On any given night, I can give my friends a call and find tickets at least one of them.
As for you getting free Devils tickets, you're on your own. But Prudential did sell quite a bit of corporate seats so start asking around.

So? Then root for the opposing team to beat the Rangers. Who cares? Why you would skip out on a hockey game when you have a chance is beyond me.
Mr.Krinkle 02-07-2008, 01:16 PM That's Ticketmaster. They keep some seats on hold until the day of the game and a few days before it. Always have, always will. It's how I've gotten playoff tickets in the past to the Garden as well.
That's not the Garden not selling the tickets, but Ticketmaster holding some till around game time.
Why would Ticketmaster hold tickets for game time? Wouldn't it be far easier to have them available at the box office? If I'm just wandering around town and happen to stumble upon the Garden on gameday, it's far easier for me to walk up to the Box Office than to go find a computer with an internet connection to hit up TM. Also, TM sales will probably cut off in a hour or two and you'll only be able to get tickets at the venue - just like everything else TM sells for.
Reverend_Hellh0und 02-07-2008, 01:16 PM Same here. When I'm at the Devs/Ducks game on Friday I'll even be rooting for the Devils.
You are a better man than I! I couldn't bring myself to root for the rangers.... :naughty:
Don't you have clubs for that game? What section....
Classic Devil 02-07-2008, 01:16 PM Just thank them for the revenue, and if they make ***** of themselves glare. Remember, there are a lot more of you than there are of them. :)

The Garden Box Office has some available for game-time as does Ticketmaster.
Ticketmaster has done it for years. I don't know why they do it. But I've gotten tickets through there multiple times for games that were sold out earlier in the year.
ILikeItVeryMuch 02-07-2008, 01:20 PM I have never turned down free tickets to any sporting event. Especially ECHL, fun hockey. Although I rarely have gotten offered free Devils tickets, I would love too, considering I spend thousands on the Devils every season.

Again, every team has to have a certain amount of tickets available for day of game purchase. That is why!

Well yeah that was kinda our point - you can obtain tickets for the Garden day of game, so hopefully MortUWary will agree now.

I think section 68 was available to me tonight.... :biglaugh:

Yea, we hate the suits too.:dunno: The difference is many of them sell them for above face value and they're often empty, while Devil fans are generous.. that's noble and you guys should be proud of that.

YOu can get em on ticketmaster right now.
for face value
See for yourself.
Diehardfan419 02-07-2008, 01:44 PM I think its the most ridiculous thing Ive seen. People that do that are just trying to start something and bring attention to themselves. I saw one Devil fan wearing a devil jersey in the Garden for the Rangers Home opener. And what do you think happened? About halfway through the game I saw him getting escorted out by securtiy as he got doused with beer from the 400's. And I think he was laughing. I was like, yeah, thats fun..let someone put handcuffs on me and then let me ruin my $200 hockey jersey with beer and god knows what else inside the cup being thrown on me. Man, thats fun.

That is like the guy that sits above the resturaunt, young kid see him at most games either up there or right below the resturaunt, taunting and causing a ruckus until he gets thrown out..... Wierd.

Solution: don't sit in the 400s and be an ass, you're asking for trouble. I guarantee that dude did something to warrant the attention. Usually any opposing fan in MSG will not get bothered whatsoever, especially in the lower seats, but it's risky in the 400s.

The Jersey is enough. I sat in the 400's when we swept you guys in a Stevens jersey. One jackarse was yelling at me the whole 1st period. I felt so bad though for the poor guy holding his 6 year old daughters ears for that period we got up between periods and ended up in 408.....
Ended up having a good conversation with a few ranger fans there was one guy though wearing timberlands, and a flannnel under his holik jersey that kept calling me a redneck.... :dunno: and the walk down the escalator was like beyond thunderdome :biglaugh: but all in all it was fun with a few crackpots sticking out of mostly decent people.
Fans are *******s to each other that is a fact. Its how one acts and responds when you are the minority that is the difference.
devilsrock 02-07-2008, 02:09 PM yea my wife both me tickets to the rangers /devils game at the garden last season at ticket master and they were not any more money then tickets to caa.

Ranger tickets are a little pricier than tickets were at CAA
The point i think MortUWary was making was that Ranger tickets are harder to come by than Devil tickets... Which is pretty much true.. There are more tickets to Devils game available than there are Ranger games
I've never had a prob in the 400's of MSG during a Devils/Rangers game while wearing a Devils jersey.. While being loud and vocal during the game I'm just not a jackass about it..
I'm on the same boat with other Devil fans on here.. When i attend a Rangers game when they're not playing the Devils there's no reason to wear a Devils jersey. It's just asking for trouble.. I'll wear any of my others

Totally agree, not sure why they do it, but who cares if you can get a ticket, right! I did the same thing for both Opening night '03 banner raising, and Dano's # retirement. Both Sell outs, I had exhausted all avenues: (prior to Stub Hub) friends, vendors, called a ton of ticket brokers, but were really expensive, and thought i may have to scalp one. Then i went up to Ticketmaster and a few were up for grabs......Sweet!!!
Jon, maybe we shouoldn't have told everyopne the secret!
And stupid me forgets it all the time. I just bought Standing room only tix to the Hawks-Avs game next
Sunday at the UC.....BUt my bro and nephew were coming into town, so i didn't want to take tyhat chance.
And BTW, I will either be wearing My RIT jersey, or Oakland Seals...Pretty Neutral. Still waiting for the NoDak jersey to come in, otherwise i would be safe at Devs and Hawks games....

Maybe overall, but when tickets go unsold to both devils and rangers games on stub hub, it is my opinion that one is not "harder to come by" even if the ranger ticket is $40 more. Its the big city things are more expensive.
Lou's Koolaid 02-07-2008, 02:56 PM I've gone to Rangers Isles games at NVMC wearing my Devils jersey cheering for the Isles of course.:D Doe's this make me as much of an azzhole as the Rags fans at the rock?

Nope, your not there every game and missing a devils game to do it. ;)
Plus you are cheering for the home team.
or are you? :naughty:
ILikeItVeryMuch 02-07-2008, 03:03 PM I loved how "Biff" in the Rangers jersey in 208 was screaming about how we gave up "THREE GOALS!" to the "lowly" Kings even though the score was 6-3 Devils, the guy had nothing, except like 100 dollars worth of beer inside him. I hope he watched the last game where the Rangers dropped a 4 spot against the same Kings and lost.
As for jerseys, no matter what hockey game I attend, I have to have on a Devils jersey, I dont understand how some people can wear another NHL teams jersey, but thats just me.

Wouldn't be just as easy to spend $100 for a ranger ticket as it is to spend $95 for a devils ticket the same night?

The Jets had a sharp jersey.

first off, I love how his name is Biff. Cause that is his name as far as i'm concerned.
Secondly, I mentioned before that I saw him and his collection of jersey friends (Flyers, Capitals, etc.,) And the usher/wand waver was booing him. Love it!
9302njd 02-07-2008, 04:26 PM Please re-read my post. That would be "paying through the nose" would it not? The point was can you go to the box office at MSG and snag tix on game day? The answer is no. Flip the scenario and go to the box office at the Prudential Center and you can get tickets on game day.
You are actually missing one of his points. He wasn't saying you can't get Devils tix, we are trying to figure out why they are buying $115+ tix to see a team you don't like play. Call me crazy, but I hate the Rangers as much as the next guy. I just don't feel like hating them for $230+ ticketmaster fees a night.
fortheloveof666 02-07-2008, 04:32 PM This is a little bit OT...but there is sort of a ****ed up paradox for me with Rag fans and I'm sure many others on here.
First off, I generally ****ing hate Rag fans...there are really few I can truly get along with. I'm not saying they're all bad, but so many of them are ignorant, arrogant retards who milk the ****ing life out of the simplest **** and things that aren't even relevant anymore: the 1994 cup, beating us in 1997, certain games we lose...yadda yadda.
I do get along with quite a few Rag fans, and for the most part, I actually think Jonathan is a cool dude and don't mind him posting here for the most part. But so many are just so full of **** and see the hockey world through some of the thickest rosey red glasses it's unbelievable (far worse than Hab fans, IMO) The things you hear at the Devs/Rags games is absolutely astonishing sometimes.
The facts are clear, they've won 1 Stanley cup since 1940 and it took 54 ****ing years. Just because you beat us in our infancy of having a capable team doesn't make it any greater 14 years later. After you won 1 in slightly more than half a century, we ripped off 3 in less than 10 years while you guys almost never made it to the big show during that time.
I'm not trying to start a flame war, just sharing my thoughts.
The Paradox however is....these same *******s I want to punch in the face for being such retards, I'm probably drinking beers with them and having a good time with them at a Giants game, or a bar, and so long as neither team or hockey doesn't get mentioned it's as if we're not the same people we see when it comes to hockey.
I'm not sure if there is another region in the US that has that kind of paradox to it. People that in one way would probably try to kill each other are, in another sport, birds of the same feather.

The people sitting downstairs were probably given tickets from a law office or something.. I know a couple of Ranger fans who go to Devil games b/c their law firm, or law firm of someone they know, gets tickets all the time
If they are in fact paying for tickets, well, that doesn't make much sense

If they're in the same area for most games they likely have season tickets from the firm..
The Devils give some season tickets to law offices of lawyers who represent some of the players.. The seats are usually in the same section and row vicinity for every game

I'm thinking that I couldn't say it better. Again, why does everything go back to our attendance? Because almost no opposing team fan can really say anything bad about our team. We made the playoffs 10 straight years, not to mention won the division every year since '95 with philly. Rags fans obviously realize this, so they decide to say something stupid about us having "no fans" etc., but at the end of the day, we have better attandance than several other teams and have had exponentially more success since we have been a team. In fact, second most successful franchise behind detroit since 1990.
åboriginal 02-07-2008, 04:57 PM this is random, but its a fan question...and i didnt wanna locate or start another thread. anyone know that youngish devil fan with the hat with 1000s of pins on it, has glasses, kind of a tool. that kid ruined 29.725% of my night at the opener. he might as well be wearing a ranger jersey, his annoyingness reminds me of them.

NYRMatt 02-07-2008, 10:32 PM I'm going to the Rock on the 23rd when you guys play the Islanders. The Rangers play Sabres that day too. But, my friend invited me to come for his birthday so I'm just recording the Rangers game.
It's going to be a fun experience to be at the Rock.
Alcoolique 02-07-2008, 11:03 PM I guess the reason why Rangers fans have a problem getting along with you is because you lack reading comprehension skills. NO. How about the Rock???
Do you understand the words that are coming off of this screen?
Sure.
Who are the best fans, who gives a ****?
Crash the Net 02-08-2008, 04:42 AM I wasn't aware that hockey fans were only allowed in arena's of their team. :sarcasm:
But, seriously, you guys are free to come to our Stadium and root for the opposing team all you want, as hard as it may be to say, it's a free country. That doesn't mean you won't get heckled, or I wouldn't if I come to the rock. But it's your-or my-or their risk.
They are an extremly ignorant fan base what do you expect... They are at all games even on nights when the rags are playing themselves.
Yeah, so that makes us an ignorant fan base as a whole because we have fans of our team that, oh, *committed a sin* by attending another game and taping the Ranger game to watch for later, and oh, by the way, where's your proof that these are Ranger fans, and in general, how do you know?

As far Rags fan, or other teams' fans. I have no problem with the other jersey being worn, and even have no problem with them cheering a goal. Sure, it's a bit annoying when their simply rooting against the Devils... but its fun and it makes it more satisfying when the Devils win.
The fans I can't stand, and this goes for any sport/team, or the super obnoxious ones who don't shutup. If its a Devil v. Ranger game, I'll tolerate it too a point. But just going on and on, wearing your Rangers jersey at a Devils Coyotes game... well then you're just an idiot. And I have a feeling those types are idiots in most aspects of their life. So thats a good feeling. Generally a good person knows where the line is
Reverend_Hellh0und 02-08-2008, 11:48 AM The people sitting downstairs were probably given tickets from a law office or something.. I know a couple of Ranger fans who go to Devil games b/c their law firm, or law firm of someone they know, gets tickets all the time
If they are in fact paying for tickets, well, that doesn't make much sense
I'll ask them tonight. :biglaugh:
Reverend_Hellh0und 02-08-2008, 11:51 AM I'm going to the Rock on the 23rd when you guys play the Islanders. The Rangers play Sabres that day too. But, my friend invited me to come for his birthday so I'm just recording the Rangers game.
It's going to be a fun experience to be at the Rock.
Thats a big difference than coming for the sole purpose of coming to cheer the other team and start static., again all are welcome of course, just respect our house. :thumbu:.
Reverend_Hellh0und 02-08-2008, 11:54 AM I wasn't aware that hockey fans were only allowed in arena's of their team. :sarcasm:
But, seriously, you guys are free to come to our Stadium and root for the opposing team all you want, as hard as it may be to say, it's a free country. That doesn't mean you won't get heckled, or I wouldn't if I come to the rock. But it's your-or my-or their risk.
You missed the whole section where I stated I was nbot talking about someone who comes to watch a game, but comes to start static I guess.
Yeah, so that makes us an ignorant fan base as a whole because we have fans of our team that, oh, *committed a sin* by attending another game and taping the Ranger game to watch for later, and oh, by the way, where's your proof that these are Ranger fans, and in general, how do you know?
Uhm, In police work, we called them wearing Rangers Jersey's "A Clue".....
It's no sin, come on down, You know you want to. Better team, better arena..... :sarcasm:

I'm only 16. I'm not looking forward to talk trash to every Devils fan in the arena yet. Maybe when I'm older. I'm just going for my friends birthday and to check out the Rock. Other than that, it's hockey and I like to see it live no matter which team is playing. It's hard to really cheer for the Islanders or the Devils but, I will most likely be cheering for no overtime. :p:
I was thinking about bringing a Hummer Metro Ice Challenge sign which shows the record against all three metro area teams though. But, who knows.
I hear the foods good. I'll be going there for that too.

NYRMatt 02-08-2008, 01:50 PM I prefer a sign that shows the actual standings. :thumbu:
I might. Because maybe by that time the Rangers would surpass the Devils. :)
But if not, then I'll stick to the Metro Ice Challenge sign. :sarcasm:

None Shall Pass 02-08-2008, 03:08 PM Oh they are more than welcome. I was just confused as isnt the newark penn on the same path line as 33rd?
No. When I take the PATH to the Rock I take the 33rd Street Line to like Journal Square or the stop right before it (Grove Street?) and transfer to the Newark train. The only PATH line that goes directly to Newark is the WTC line. Otherwise you have to transfer.
OT but: http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/path/html/new_cars.html
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy
It's going to be a fun experience to be at the Rock.
It's a really nice stadium and you'll like it.
DevsOwnYou 02-08-2008, 11:26 PM A few more nimrods in Rags jerseys show up tonight to root for their flavor of the day, the Ducks.
The same Ducks team that kicked the snot out of the Broadway Bluebibs the night before.
It's a common theme, dorky late teens/earl twenties, in their Rags jerseys with the expression, "Hey, look at me, I'm wearing a Rags jersey, I am so attention starved".
Sometimes I wish I was 17 again so I can wipe the smirk off of their face without getting a 5 year sentence in the Big House.

I think I saw the Rags fans who you were talking about. 3 kids probably early 20's one kid was wearing a Rangers 3rd jersey Lindros (which I wouldn't be caught dead wearing if I was a Rags fan) and a black hat, another was wearing a goofy smile and a white Messier jersey. And I forget what the other kid was wearing. But if I was of age to get drunk at the game, those kids better have watched out. I'm different when I have a few beers in me.

I saw a female of that same age range tonight wearing a Graves jersey and wearing those pajama bottom get-ups that these late teen/early 20-something chicks seem to like to wear. I wonder if she was part of that imbecilic NYR horde that you so describe.

I saw those 3 idiots in the Devils Den tonight and they had those same goofy smirk and looked like they were up to no good!
I also had a kid wearing a Rangers jersey in my section tonight, and he was very quiet, didn't really say a word, and I thanked him for spending money on a team he hates rather than his own team!

Lets face it, .......there are just too many Ranger fans around here, if their team cant win, I guess they have to root against us, to feel happy.....very insecure.
Islander102 02-09-2008, 12:48 AM Agreed.
I buy ranger tickets off ticketmaster ALL THE TIME a few days before the game, sorry pal.

pattyelias 02-09-2008, 03:12 PM I used to go with my friend to Rags games at MSG all the time when they were playing teams other than the Devils. I think the Rangers lost 9 of 10 games I went to one season, so I stopped getting invited.

Sorry, but it was true. It's bad enough that she had an Adam Graves (yawn) jersey on, but I mean, she could be my daughter 10 years from now, but unfortunately unlike my daughter, she had a hatchet face. I'd say she was 19 or 20. She looked like a clown with those silly, idiotic pajama pants, but then again, speaking of hatchet face, I've never met a NYR fan who was attractive in any way, shape or form. Have you? Seriously, have you?
njdevs231 02-10-2008, 12:48 PM I got a kick out of i guess 4 or 5 10-13 year old kids who were sitting upstairs last nite all with rangers gear on and lead Im assuming by their dad who had a rags jacket on. they all cheared the canes and kept saying 5-0!!!

Seriously, this crap has gone long enough. I'm getting tired of these ingrates with their blueskirt wardrobe. I wish they would ban these fools from showing up at games in their jerseys when their own team isn't playing sorta like the Tampa Bay Bucs tried to do. I don't care if they paid for their ticket or not. It's embarassing. Do I need to see these idiots when the Maple Leafs, Hurricanes and Capitals are in town?
It's this sorta crap that makes this organization look bad, other than the Rangers suck chant. Which would be drowned out more if these fools would stop showing up.

Don't the Yankees ban anything that says "boston" on it?
I don't think thats the right choice, cause I see these guys as potential future Devils fans.... Plus they are helping our bottom line.

Um, banning people based on what jerseys they were wearing would make the organization look worse.
The Tampa Bay Bucs are jo's and try to pull stuff all the time to mask their "not-so-impressive" fan base. Like not letting Giants fans buy tickets to a game they couldn't sell to their own fans.
Do you really want to be the Tampa Bay Bucs?
Should we have thrown out the Kings boosters because they were like 10 of the 20 people that showed up to the game on Monday?
njdevs231 02-10-2008, 04:09 PM i dont think these fans should be thrown out, in fact I welcome them b/c they contribute to the Devils revenue. ive seen it come close to that...
i went to the Dallas game, (where we won 4-2) There was this drunk guy and his friend in the row below me. (section 101, row 7) and about 7 rows behind us were 2 rags and 1 philly fan.
The dude saw those 3 guys and started yelling at them, counting the cups we've won. The drunk guy wanted to fight, the 3 guys above us just yelled down about how they've won all their games against us this yeat... of course the entire section started up and they sat down and stopped talking when the devs took the 3-2 lead...
but i wouldnt be surprised if fighting occurred by the way things were going
