How early do you think me and my friends should get up to Newark on Saturday to get 10$ seats? I have never waited on the 10$ line before.

I honestly think it a shame if this one doesn't sell out. Friday night rematch of the stanley cup finals from a few years ago, and the return of one of the best defenseman in the league to his former team where he was made...

Lukowich was another :biglaugh: That's why this whole nonsense about Nieds killing the Devils by waiting is so overrated. It would have killed the Devils if Rafalski had also left but he was a loyal soldier and waited around. If anything he hurt the Ducks a lot more this season than he ever did us by forcing them to trade McDonald.

Anyway as for my guess, 16,425. It would be a sellout on a Saturday but I'll guess a few hundred less on Friday.

I thought of Gonchar soon after but figured the Devils were never going to be in the bidding anyway considering the years and money involved. The guy played 13 full seasons with the Devils and was an integral part of winning three stanley cups. He's one of the most gifted players the Devils have ever had. When he left all he did was excercise his right as a Free Agent. If that left the Devils in a bind it was more Lou's fault than anyone's. The guy deserves a standing ovation from the fans, quite frankly. I wish I was going so that I could do that.

But I have to apologize to you for not knowing the basics of the pricing chart. I just checked them hard tonight for the first time and I didn't realize how ridiculous the balcony prices are considering that you can pay 35 dollars less to sit a couple rows up. And yes, they were totally empty tonight. Those prices need to be 65 dollars at the max. The attendance could be much better if those were better priced. Even the lower seats are selling a bit.
