OT: McFarlanes'

i was watching nhl on the fly and they were showing the process of how they make them. it was pretty cool. david clarkson was there along with dipietro, eric stall, chara, and ovechkin. ov was his usual kidding around self but chara kind of came off as a dick, go figure. anyway does anybody collect these? i do. i have a marty one holding the cup and a bunch more. i have a ray borque but before they were allowed to put the nhl logos on them. they are really cool and very detailed. i have a few baseball ones too including a really nice dwright one.

does that mean Clarkson is getting made into one?

Probably not. TMP set up a room at the ASG and showed the players how it works while collecting info for the future I assume. I say that because 2 of the players featured had figures come out in the last year (Staal and Ovechkin) and probably would not get another one soon. I have a bunch and I started doing some customs recently. A Parise and a Brodeur are scheduled.

I bet Clarkie never dreamed about what hes going through right now, from being looked over in the draft, to playing in the NHL youngstars game. Thats a pretty big jump.

I love Clarkie, he is fast becoming my favourite Devil!

I have all the Brodeur ones made, the Team Canada one, the Marty cup one in small, medium and large, the first one that came out. I also have the Stevens. If there's another Brodeur and a Parise coming, you can be sure I'll have them both on day damn one.

I have around 60 my aelf. I think there are cool. I only collect the players I like though

and Clarkson prob wont be made into a figure, they normally go for well known players, they already have like 9 different Gretzky's out, so it would be hard for him to make it, but i hope he does :crossfing

Where do you guys get yours? I just started collecting some last weekend(posted some pics in the Isles forum). They are really cool, kinda upset I didn't know about them from the beginning.

I knew this thread would be stated! I watched on the fly for a few seconds this morning before running out and only saw the beginning of the skit with ovechkin. I got to class and a friend told me that clarkson was there too, so I texted cj to see if she knew anything...

I have the 12" brodeur, brodeur/messier 2 pack, series 1 brodeur with logo on water bottle, team canada brodeur, team canada chase brodeur, series 9 brodeur with cup, and both regular and chase scott stevens figures. I actually made a little shrine on my wall with the devs figures around a brodeur plaque from an ex. I also collect all of the goalies. I think I am missing about 5 or 6, mostly the newer ones, and obviously, the third jersey roy that goes for over $500! I have them all up like a border around my room. Since I have a very small room, I only have about half of them on three walls!

I get them on ebay and spawn.com message boards. Great stuff, you can find nearly any figure you want on ebay! If anyone is interested in a Thibault of Belfour figure, let me know. I stupidly bought them not realizing I had them already! I also collect yankees and giants figs as well.

i saw an article out that since gretz is no longer part of the PA they payed big bucks to make his figure hence so many damn versions....there prob one of him in a st louis jersey and a burger king jersey too

Well...YOU DID!!!!!!! I was searching all over the place like a psycho!:rant: I think that a Parise will be created though sometime in the near future.
