The salads were often over priced and not really that fresh. I used to eat at Freehold Mall all the time since I worked for Verizon at the time nearby. TB Sheets 02-04-2008, 10:17 PM If you're ever in Princeton, try Chucks Spring Street Cafe. THE BEST WINGS. And everything else is good and not too expensive. Where is there Roy Rogers besides East Brunswick? I take it they're no more Roy Rogers at the Turnpike rest stops? There used to be one in Quaker Bridge Mall, also.* * Keep in mind, I haven't been there in over ten years.... Arbor12 02-05-2008, 02:03 AM I miss my fav's from jersey now that I moved to VA. There were so many Mr C's (grease truck at rutgers in New Brunswick) White Castle (we dont have them down south) Jimmy buff's in scotch plains Dominick's Pizza (In Piscataway my hometown best pizza ever) StylinIsle30 02-05-2008, 03:14 AM Isn't there a Sonic in Waretown now? I gotta say, for fast food, that **** is goooooooooooood. I have a funny personal story regarding Sonic. One of my co-workers lives in Toms River, and when I was training him last summer, I kept talking about how excited I was for my upcoming vacation in Florida, because I'd get to have a Sonic Blast for the 1st time in like a year. He had no clue what I was even talking about, so I started showing him their menu online. About a month later, he tells me about the Waretown one opening...and a month after that, he was cursing me because he put on about 10 lbs, saying, "Now I know why you wouldn't shut up about that place." :) Speaking of Roy Rogers, there used to be one down near Seaview Square Mall, if I remember correctly...those really were some great roast beef sandwiches. WozzyBearRU 02-05-2008, 12:19 PM Hands down the fat sandwhiches at the RU grease trucks..... ILikeItVeryMuch 02-05-2008, 01:32 PM I am so tempted to go to the Sonic in Waretown, its still a bit far. frozenrubber 02-05-2008, 03:01 PM If you're ever in Princeton, try Chucks Spring Street Cafe. Yes, Chucks, which used to be owned by the Menendez brothers, are hands down the best wings in Jersey. That Roy Rogers in Quakerbridge turned into a Wendys about 10 years ago. DevilsFan38 02-05-2008, 08:41 PM I was driving up the turnpike today and on the sign for the Grover Cleveland rest stop they still have a Roy Rogers sign. I don't know if it's still there, but I thought I'd share that with you Roy Rogers lovers. Those Roy's were pretty bad especially coming home after the games and you only ate their because the food in the arena was even worse. Lou's Koolaid 02-05-2008, 09:10 PM Apparently there is one in Waretown or around that area (south jersey) It's brand new. I made a road trip for Sonic because, I'm sure like you, got sick of the constant commercials and having no option to try it. So we drove 2.5 hours into PA just to eat it one day. and i gotta say, it was goooooooooooooodWatching out of market fast food commercials on Center Ice is going to make get on a plane someday. If you dont know where the complex is its right in front of those office buildings where TGIFridays is. guyincognito 02-07-2008, 04:52 PM man I tried Cheeseburger in Paradise in woodbridge, and it honked. my brother and mom felt the same way. probably one of the coldest, driest burgers I've ever had. Cheeseburgers in Paradise are spotty. Not as spotty as Applebees (where there's 10bad ones for every good one), but still... I like the gimmick more than anything, especially in the winter. In the summer, I can go to a real tiki bar. | ||
