...and I gotta say, for being the Devils of the West sort of, Minnesota flies around that ice. That's the kind of play we need with our system. Granted we don't have Gaborik but still.

First I saw 40 dollar lower level tickets for Thrashers games, then on the Florida game they have a deal 2 tickets 2 slices of pizza 2 drinks and parking for 50 bucks.
I know it's the south and inflation doesn't get bloated like here, but man.....if we ran something like that once in a while, we could easily sell out.

MoonDragn 01-31-2008, 08:15 AM I went to one Caps game on a half price deal, it was comparable to our half price for the $65 dollar seats except their deal was right up front in one of the lower sections almost next to the ice. I wish our deals were like that.

The Rags are winning, I can't be excited about that...no matter who they're playing against.
If Bruins win tonight we'll be the 7:th seed in the Conference. Yikes how things have changed...from 2:nd to 7:th just like that...
Tomorrow's game is the game of the year for the Devils so far, there's no doubt. A must win. With the way things have been going against NY this year and with the way both are playing right now...I don't know...

Well, that call was weak, but it makes up for the "goal" from Sundin, he kicked it in, but with the "war room" being in Toronto, it was obvious it'd count, so the Leafs get a free point from the NHL, as did Montreal, That play near the end of regulation with the Caps winning 4-3 should have been whistled dead, fortunately AO put it right with the OT winner, but the Habs get a free point from the NHL as well as the Leafs :shakehead

Personally I thought the Sundin one was a goal...but based on things that got screwed against us like the Mottau goal in Washington, I have to agree with what you're saying. Absolutely no consistency in the rulings and the fact it was the Leafs probably helped despite what some people would like to think.
But man, the penalty they called in OT was atrocious, absolutely horrid. It was a great play on the stick to break up what was probably going to be a long pass and they call that garbage. I guess it is tit-for-tat so to speak, but I'm so sick of **** penalties basically deciding games.
I dunno about you, but I knew as soon as it was called the game was over.

I agree with you, it was a terrible call, and I also agree with "penalties" being called that decide games, but in this Hurricanes-Leafs game it was poetic justice that Carolina won because the game should never have gone to OT, I'm just a little peeved that the Leafs got a point they had no business getting, from what I saw, Mats Sundin kicked that puck in.
