All you-know-what broke loose with 12 seconds left in the game. What had supposedly started it all was the Broncos frustration and their apparent retailiation for Ben Geelan's slash on Patrick Gallivan earlier in the game. The Falcons won this game 4-1 and Derek Whitmore posted a hat-trick but it was overshadowed by the brawl. It took the officials several minutes to separate all of the players. Everyone on the ice at the time, with the exception of the goaltenders, were all given DQs. The game featured a total of 207 penalty minutes.
