The Best Thing to Happen to the Blue Jackets!

I was watching the 11 P.M. news here in Columbus. They had Chimera on who said what we have all been thinking. IT is bull***** that Pazzy with 7 shutouts and a top save percentage is not in the all-star game.

In the movie Major League all they needed was something to "bring these guys together".

I believe if we make the playoffs this year we will trace it back to Pazzy not making the all-star game.

We have a rally point as a team.

Totally agree. The Grinch not making it to the All Star game is very possibly a rallying point. Like any time a kid talented enough to make a team doesn't, you know politics were involved. Allow me to join you in thanking the meat-heads in the NHL for not selecting him.

I've started chanting "All Star" when he makes an exceptional save, which is happening at least 2-3 times/game. And he keeps raising the bar on what is considered exceptional.

The two saves from point-blank range against Nashville were devastating. Might as well have kicked them right in the crotch. Completely demoralizing to get great chances and have the hot goalie shut you down. I recognize it because we've been there for years.

Last night, they played the last 30 minutes almost exclusively in our end of the ice. Pazzy didn't lose concentration for a second. At the end, the 'Nukes let loose two tight-end shots from the right of the goal, and slightly behind. I think they were trying to rebound it off a d-man standing in front of Pazzy. He gloved it. Game over.

I just hope we can show him off in the playoffs, to a wider audience. Then, when national fans ask "Where did this guy come from?" we can answer "Didn't you see him in the AllStar game? Oh, wait..."

-Chimmer finally scored again. He's got two goals in three games, after going 0-for-26.
-The REAL David Vyborny looks like he's returned to Columbus.
-We finally beat the Nashville Predators.
-3 straight wins, with momentum headed to a road trip
-We finally beat the Nashville Predators.

The team's been real all year. Here's something that can motivate them for the rest of the season. Now it's time to go on a tear.

in the allstar game... Then why the H e double sticks pick Osgood, Nabokov, and Legace instead? Looks to me like they allowed the coaches to just pick their own guy eh? They snubbed Pazzy because they could, and they knew this market wouldn't ***** about it.

Well maybe the team has decided to shoulder the load and "stick it where the sun don't shine..", this seems cheesy but if thats what it takes we need to make some banners and make it a "carry the flag" rallying cry.

In all seriousness saw Clint Malarchuck(sp?) comparing Roberto & Pazzy last night and along with the numbers he had some great things to say about our guys character and work ethic, not to mention his skill level.

Rallying around a snub is the pansy's way of sticking up for a teammate.

The NHL wants to make sure that each team is equally represented - then why
is a quarter of the Western roster made up of the Red Wings? Yes, they have
70 points, and they have some great players, but Osgood over LeClaire? Hopefully,
Pazzy has the chance to go head to head with Osgood and we put an Atlanta
hurt on them like last night.

They want every team to be represented, no-one has said anything about equally represented. If a team is way above others, you should have many players from that team in the All-Star game. Osgood belongs to the All-Star, it's Legace that should have been dropped.

Something has definitely "clicked" in the guy's minds. Look at Nikki last night; he was getting in guy's faces, laying out for the puck, and just being an all-around hockey player.

When you're an underdog you always need something to rally around. If this is what the guy's need I hope they put a giant sign above the cannon that says: "Snoopy Got Screwed!"

oh, and where was the nhl when we were starting out and not getting anyone but whit and espen in the all-star game? huh? there doesnt need to be a rep from each team, but they feel bad for teams when they dont get anyone, but when it comes to us, nothin! its bullsh1t, the league absolutely hates us...this is just the thing that will push us over the edge to the playoffs

Pazzy is better than Legace in every statistical category, I hope Leclaire takes his anger out on every team we play the rest of the season.

actually i think luongo is the reason legace made the team, they needed a cunuck so they added a sedin so they had to drop kariya and add legace, i think that if luongo didnt drop out pazzy would be in.

btw the so called all star osgood was pulled last night after allowing 4 goals in 17 shots
