...and i wanted to see the ducks, especially if niedermayer is thinking of retiring. however, i live on a graduate student budget, which basically means abject poverty. so, i was wondering if any posters here had advice on the cheapest way to see the ducks. i looked on their site and saw that they had family packs starting at $66, which sounds pretty good, but how are the seats? i've never been to the honda center, so does anyone have any advice on navigating that place?
(i know it might not be popular on this board, but...) i moved from los angeles where the kings have "hockey night out" deals of two beers, two nachos and two tickets for $50. the seats were nosebleed, but i always thought staples center nosebleed was not too bad. do the ducks do similar packages for two instead of four?
and finally, does anyone know if there are ducks ticket exchanges anywhere online?
thanks in advance, and i look forward to seeing orange county's finest!

I don't track the ducks deals (season tickets),
But there are few (if any) bad seats on the Honda Center.
You can go to the 400 section and still have a good view, I just make sure I never sit behind the hanging nets.

You can find some cheap tickets on Stubhub usually, below what you would pay through ticketmaster. All the seats at the Ponda are good, even the "nosebleeds".

Honda Center's cheap seats are by FAR better than Staples Center.
Just find the cheapest tickets you can get... they are pretty good.

Los Angeles to Orange County is not that far. I drive to LA from Anaheim Hills every morning to go to work. If you go the Ducks website, you can click on ticket exchange which will list tickets available for sale. Also, there are always generous people willing to give their tickets away if you plead your case well enough. Being a Kings fan won't help your case. lol

thanks for the tips, i totally missed the "ticket exchange" link. and my kings fan status will be remain a secret. it's pretty funny, actually--my six year old daughter really got into the ducks during the cup run, and was thrilled to learn that we were moving to within 15 minutes of the honda center. i suggest trips to la to see the kings and she scoffs at me! so, honda center, here we come.
