And here begins the 19 out of 28 at home to get 2008 started. This'll decide where they end up, most likely. Can't screw up the payback for the 9 game road trip.

Well, it goes without saying that this game is huge and a must win. The rags won back to back games while we lost one, and are only a point behind. I want to see hustle and no injuries. It should be interesting with clarke and tallackson in, but I really hope Elias and Pando are back as soon as possible. It would be nice to see consistent lines with everyone healthy.

I will certainly miss this one due to work. :( I only hope they come out with some speed and skill to their edge. That game against the Islanders was a complete breakdown. Hopefully they have a good breakout some decent set up time with more shots.I also hoped they worked hard on that powerplay. Don't underestimate this team either. Lets kick some ass.

Good luck to Noah C and Barry T! I hope for the best from them. I have been campaigning for Clarke's callup most of the year, so I hope he doesnt prove me wrong. Thomas V has been stealing games with regularity this season and with the Devils struggling to score, I'm predicting low-scoring 2-1 Devils Victory.

Because the devils do the same crap year after year. The level of their game goes down when they play lower level teams and we struggle against them instead of burying them.

Elias skates, but won't play tonight
Patrik Elias skated this morning for the first time since his groin tightend up on him late in Friday's win over Buffalo, but won't play tonight against the Florida Panthers at Prudential Center. Elias took the ice by himself prior to the optional morning skate and then came back out to skate for a while with Arron Asham, Sheldon Brookbank and Kevin Weekes.

When asked if he was going to play tonight, Elias replied, "After five days off and a 30-minute skate? No."

Maybe we should play in front of nobody every night. The PA announcer's voice is echoing through the building.
It cant be worse than Halloween night, the lower bowl is plenty more full tonight than that night, although I was at that game not seeing it from a TV perspective. The atmosphere at the Rock for the last game against Buffalo was so great, its hard not to get spoiled.
