I found this list on nhlscap.com, figured I would bring it to your attention. Without further ado, I present the guys you may never see in a Devils' uniform again:

UFA
Arron Asham
Sheldon Brookbank
Mike Mottau
Jay Pandolfo
Karel Rachunek

Noah Clarke
Frank Doyle
Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre
Grant Marshall
Richard Matvichuk
Ian Moran
Jason Ryznar
Barry Tallackson
Jari Viuhkola

RFA
David Clarkson
Ivan Khomutov
Olli Malmivaara
Jordan Parise
Rod Pelley
Petr Vrana

I think we see Asham, Clarke, Marshall, Matvichuk, Ryznar, and maybe Tallackson and Brookbank let go. I also don't know if we'll tender an offer to Khomutov. Thoughts?

The only definite loss I'd bank on is Matvichuk leaving.

Hm I'd like to see Asham back.

What does everyone think will be Pandolfo's range? $2 million per?

UFA
Sheldon Brookbank
Mike Mottau
Jay Pandolfo

RFA
David Clarkson
Olli Malmivaara
Jordan Parise
Rod Pelley
Petr Vrana

I want to see Brookbank and Mottau stay, unless a bonafied quarter back is found, then let mottau go. I like the toughness Brookbank brings. Jay will come back no matter what. But I want to see a spot open up for Corrente/Fraser

The bold are the ones I see us keeping around. I know it seems crazy, but I really think if Mottau keeps it up, they're going to want to keep him on board. I wouldn't complain, honestly. He's not great, but he's alright...I sort of look at him like the Jay Pando of our D-corps. Well, the Boston thing aside.

No love for PV?

I think Mottau is a keeper, even if he isn't great as a first line D, he can certainly be a good 2nd or 3rd line guy. Brookbank maybe needs more work in the AHL, plus we have Corrente and Fraser ready to come up soon.

I think alot of those guys will be resigned to lowell, except maybe Matty.

Clarke still seems like a great player to me. I may have blinders on but he seems to be one of those late blooming forwards.

A classic top-of-the-line AHL forward who can't cut in the big show.

nah, it's not that I don't like him, I just don't know that I can say that he's close to a definite. Plus he could be a guy that ends up in a deadline package.

Petr Vrana...Sign him back before he's gone and he ends up like Voros..

He did, but we retain his NHL/AHL rights for now.

I definetly want to see Vrana get a shot with the big club next year in training camp. He should be getting a look now at the NHL level.

I could see Jay Pandolfo on the Bruins next season. It is a reality that we have to consider. Rod Pelley could take his place with Madden, or possibly Zubrus.

If we don't trade Petr Vrana as part of a package at the deadline, he has to be re-signed.

I would like to see if Lou can get something for Tallackson, like he did with Voros.

Rachunek and Brookbank will be gone if the organization feels Matt Corrente is ready.

Gotta sign Malmivaara. I don't know if he is the next Zdeno Chara or the next Gilles Lupien (that's for you old guys like me ;) ).

Jordan Parise should be back, especially if Frank Doyle leaves. I think he would like to play on the Devils with Zach, even if he is only a backup.

If Mike Mottau is the sixth or seventh defenseman, he should re-sign. We gave him a chance and he kind of owes us. Mottau is a tough call. If Boston offers him an opportunity, he will take it.

Is this our lineup for next season???

Parise--Zajac--Langenbrunner
Elias--Vrana?--Gionta
Pelley--Madden--Zubrus (No Pando. Assuming he will sign with Boston.)
Brylin--???--Clarkson
Janssen and ???

Martin--White
Corrente--Greene
Mottau--Vishnevski
Oduya or Fraser or Malmivaara or Brookbank???

Marty
Weekes

I don't know what team he would be on but I wouldn't be surprise if someone comes after him with a boat of money, Lou should be talking to Pando's agent right now to get an extension.

Pando should and will probably be re-signed, other than that nothing for us Devil fans to really worry about after the last three years with Nieds, Elias and Gomer & Rafalski. We can relax this off season.

I could see Jay Pandolfo on the Bruins next season.Don't you think Boston should be looking to add more offense? Signing Pando would just give them three checking-line left wingers, all making more than $1.8M.

I wouldn't be too worried about him going to Boston. Unless someone gets fired.

He's going to be tough to resign. With all of this passive box + 1 going around the league, he's a dream guy to have around. It's not like alot of these teams really make an attempt to score 5 on 5 anyway. He can keep the other guys from scoring and the top six can do their business on the PP.

If he had stayed healthy, it was possible he could get an offer that would seem quite a bit whacky. I mean, not for massive $$$, but definately more than you would want to spend on that particular role. If he potted 20+ (and he still can, even if it isn't likely), that just adds another dimension to the problem.

Those in bold are the keepers, in my opinion. I see Rachunek (and possibly Asham) being traded at the deadline this season.

Khomutov is still barely over the age of 20, he's not going anywhere. And Malmivaara looked pretty good while he was up, I'd like to see him get a real shot in next year's training camp. He needs to work on his mobility, but then so did Zdeno Chara (and Chara didn't become the player he was with Ottawa until relatively late, so Olli still has time to improve).

Pandolfo, Pelly, and Clarkson are without a doubt staying. Also, Jordan Parise isn't going anywhere with Zach on the team. I can see him splitting some time with Weekes next year as Marty's backup. I have a feeling that Brookbank and Mottau will also be kept around and will perhaps rotate playing with Corrente. Maybe we even see Malmivaara in that rotation, but I think a lot of it depends on training camp.

I think many people thought the same thing about Rafalski too...

I certainly hope he does but stranger things have happened.
