While doing my research for this one, I came across this article on the situation in Augusta:
http://www.wrdw.com/sports/headlines/12833937.html

After doing the math, the line of Aaron Slattengren, Louis Goulet and Jason Laliberte have scored 43% of the Lynx goals this year. That's kind of an astounding number.

That should tell you a lot about the ECHL team. Their top line is getting it done, and other players who have produced well (namely Christie and Dingle) have been called up to Portland. In addition, Slattengren (their leading scorer and recently named to the ECHL All-Star team) has just recently signed an AHL deal with the Manitoba Moose and has played three games there so far.

Auffrey and Bolt are being counted on to step it up more in order to provide the secondary scoring that the Lynx desperately need.

snarktacular

Since this is related to discussion in another thread, how's Salcido doing in terms of other parts of the game? What kinds of situations does he play in (PP, PK, ES... I hate how this standardized hockey site doesn't provide ice times and extended stats)? How's his defense?

From what I've heard, Salcido's defense does need to continue to improve. Just a matter of picking his spots better and being more careful with the puck. There's a healthy balance needed between his offensive production and his play in his own zone, just to make him a more well-rounded prospect and increase his chances of success at the NHL level.
