Anybody buy an Edge jersey yet?

I'm content with my last year's replica Perry jersey, but I've still been thinking about getting a current one for a while. Any thoughts?

If I were you I'd hold off. With a few teams switching entirely back to the old fabric, I suspect there will be another jersey change next season. Either slightly altered new materials, or stay with the new cut and the old material, or back to the old cut/fabric entirely (with new designs).

If you're a collector then it might be worth it, otherwise I'd be worried about getting a jersey that will be obsolete after the season.

I was kind of disappointed with the lack of a price drop in the old jersey. I mean, I was kind of hoping to get an older jersey über cheap, but they are still kind of pricey. Oh well... At least my girlfriend can fit into a youth one...

The jerseys are here to stay, go ahead and get an authentic they are very nice. They may go back to the air knit fabric but the jersey cut will stay the same plus there is no guarantees that any material change will affect the consumer product, I see it as a custom change for players exclusively.

Now if they got rid of the orange necklace it'd be a sharp jersey.

its not the orange that bugs me, its the gold "lapels" that make it look stupid. almost vaudevillian. ill stick with last years version. oh and my wife wears the youth size too, shes not going to buy a pink jersey.

I bought an old jersey last year when I was down in Cali. I don't know how much they are right now; but here in Vancouver their old jerseys have dropped 70% and they are only $40, even I bought one *cries in shame*.

I got a practice one. Not sure if it's the exact same material but I did it for sure. They really don't absorb any moisture and are much more comfortable to play in. In my opinion at least.

I know there is a lot of controvery over that, thats why I hesitate. I figure I need a Getzlaf jersey sooner or later. Would it make sense for them to change the material the replica is made of? I'll probably hold off though just to be safe, besides they don't exactly seem much better than the old ones.
