Loudest Doc Emerick Screams Ever

Lol, I just HAD to. Most of the time when we score he has one of the loudest screams ever. But the loudest one was probably when Marty scored on Montreal. Then the second one was probably when Marshall scored that OT Playoff game goal against Boston (not so sure) in 2003 when we won the cup..

Hmm..after looking at these two over and over...it's kinda hard decideding which scream was louder. :biglaugh:..:yo:

When Gionta tied the game up against the Flyers last year (yeah which one, heh), when Nittymaki fell backwards in disgust. Doc was in rare form.

Ah, thanks for that wonderful memory. I like watching catastrpohic NYR miscues.

Speaking of Henrik "My Save % is Dropping Faster than the U.S. Dollar" Lundqvist, now that Brodeur's stats are almost identical to that of Lundy, how come no talk of Marty for the Hart? After all, they all but gave it to Lundy and now we can say that if the Devils didn't have Brodeur, they'd be a last place team. Right?

hahah he screamed so loud on that Parise goal the mic peaked and cut him out completely. I dunno if anything is gonna top that.

Well, besides being at the game and talking loads of **** to Rags fans after Parise scored from BEHIND the goal line. :handclap:

PS: That goal is the reason Lou signed Rachunek.

This video has 4 decent examples of the Emickian scream.

:biglaugh::biglaugh: That's classic....

Marty should be talk for the Hart every season with the way he's always turning out as the seasons progress, he continually sliences critics everywhere as we get the halg way point.

not that I suspect he goes and reads everything, but maybe it's those critics that give him the extra push to step it up.

But really, he is his own worst critic.

That was my first thought when I opened this thread. I watched that clip about 20 times by now, one of the best Devils goals.

The best one I've EVER heard was in 1997 against the Flyers at the Meadowlands, a come from behind win, Hextall in goal and the puck comes rolling at him from center ice. Steve Thomas is chasing after it and Hextall charges the blue line and tries to poke the puck away from an oncoming Thomas. He misses and Thomas pokes it toward the vacated net and in for the go-ahead goal and Emerick lets out the most 12 year old girl screeching SCAAAOOORRRRRRRRRREEE!!!!! ever heard. I have this game on VHS tape somewhere and it was an absolute classic. The examples in this thread so far have absolutely nothing on this game. He actually lost it on the tying goal as well. Back in the 90s Doc was always in absolute top form against the Flyers because they fired him in 93 for refusing to call the games with a homer slant.

Ditto. I knew right away because I was at the game and got dizzy myself screaming so loud, and Doc just goes ballistic. For about 3 or so months, that video was my screen saver.

I'm slightly biased though.

Goal #3 was my first OT victory - very happy about that.

that was also, I believe, Scott Stevens' last ever game.

too bad Cangiolosi had to call Game 2 vs OTT this past season.

but here is my other nominee since the Parise Goal is rightfully posted and probaby #1.

well, on second thought, it is definitely not his loudest scream...so we fans had to help!!!! :yo: :yo: :yo:

also, since were on the subject of "catastrophic Rangers miscues" this is fitting! (TY Muttley)

You know what's the saddest about this? That Madden goal on Weekes in the playoffs...the building is so loud it's unbelievable. If we actually packed the house regularly, we could easily have a top 5 loudest building in the league, IMO.

You know what's funny about that clip... I don't mind seeing Lou behind the bench one bit... I sorta liked it given the alternative at the time. I like Sutter now just fine, but given that Burns wasn't able... I had no problem at all with Lou at the helm. :)

That was a sweet kill btw. :D
