When the Leafs come to New York tomorrow night, the FAN 590 reporter who is being sued by Sean Avery will not come with them . A note at the bottom of a Globe and Mail article on scoring in the NHL (a good story in its own right) says that the Rangers have refused Howard Berger credentials for the game.
theMessiah1194 12-05-2007, 07:54 PM aahahahah, get what you deserve, Berger's a bum
Jonathan. 12-05-2007, 07:54 PM :handclap::handclap::handclap:
**** Berger.
This won't be over until he's fired and/or the Fan 590 donates money to Avery's favorite charity.

Maybe in Toronto.
TrueBlue9 12-05-2007, 08:16 PM Sam says otherwise....
Berger himself will be back in New York to cover the game, and the Rangers are denying this report that says they are refusing the reporter admission into the press box. The team says Berger might not get a seat in the lower press box, but that, they say, is a numbers issue because there are only a select number of seats.

This guy finds a reason to constantly put down the Leafs, even back when they were attending Conference finals.
Hopefully he gets fired so I never have to read his writing, too bad Steve Simmons couldn't have made up a bogus rumor and be threatend to be sued for libel aswell.
DruMez 12-05-2007, 09:00 PM They should make him sit in the blue seats with Avery and a bunch of drunks.

I thought that was implied by 'blue seats'?

Simmons is too busy licking Larry Tannenbaum's taint and ripping JFJ.
That Sundin story in May/June by Simmons about Sundin's hip injury being "possibly career ending" was a doozy.

Good to see. Considering the job Dolan has done in staining the once proud tradition of The Garden, they'd have a hell of a nerve refusing anyone.
Maybe they'll be kind enough to announce the names of all the visiting reporters tonight so the fans can let each one know what we think of them.
