as per tsn.com, Recchi has cleared waivers.

personally I think he could have been a good pickup on re entry waivers, he would cost less than 1 mil. I hear a lot of people saying he's not fit for a top 6 role anymore though.

He was claimed off re-entry waivers by Atlanta.

That's odd, I don't remember seeing this thread. I typed something Recchi related in another thread, maybe the hypothetical what to do if Nieds comes back thread?

Like DFC said, Atlanta claimed Recchi was claimed. What's interesting is Atlanta was 8th or 9th in the waiver order, the Ducks were 10th or 11th (I'm not sure how ties are broken... there were 2 teams tied for point% at 8th and 10th). So we never got the chance to get him, but it was close.

I don't think we would have picked him up anyways. We're looking to dump salary.
