He's brought a new look to the Madden line. I think Clarkson has fired up Madden and Pando and they've settled him down and helped him improve his defensive game.

I can't wait to see what these 3 can do together as the season progresses and Clarkson really gets comfortable with his linemates.

I finally got to see a Devils game live, and I watched specifically how Clarkson's game was. The flaw I see is that his skating needs a little work and he also needs help on receiving passes. I've seen him fumble a few times in the offenseive zone cause a pass overshot him. He needs more ice awareness for where the puck is going to be.

But once he gets the puck he is very dynamic. He has a nose for the net and when he's in sync with Madden and Pandolfo he'll be great. I think Brylin is throwing things off right now for him too.
